The next morning I woke up, still confused on what my grandma told me, I know I shouldn't of left her like that but she was going nuts and was scaring the living day light out of me. I wake up again to 17 missed calls and I wake up get ready like usual and I shine my badge and walk out of my house, this time the call was at the hospital and someone els had been killed. I get down the the local hospital hoping what ever happened didn't harm my grandma, I get sent to the loading garage and get shown into this office Mike sees me and explains.
" um daisy, you have somthing um " he points out
"Huh Mike?"
"Um let me get it" he takes leaf out my hair and I blush
"Their we go darlin" he stares at me lost in my eyes
"Mike?"
"Yeah" he says dazzled
"Oh right, so we got a call from a very scared man Mitchell banks and he is a delivery man to the hospital, he was signing some delivery forms and heard screams coming from this lady's office,"he explained
"Who's the lady?"
"Her name is Ruby Dover she is 33 and is a nurse who works in the delivery section of the hospital, you know checking everything is their and stocking up on supplies and all that type of stuff" Mike said
"So how she die?" I ask
"We believe that she was sitting at her desk and got attacked, the window is broken their are bloody foot prints, it looks like this killer threw this desk at her and I don't think you wanna know this but" says Mike
"But..." I demand
He shows me to the women's body and she had all bites on her as well the same as the ones of ties neck.
"Oh god" I whisper as I run out, I think I'm gonna be sick as Mike run after me.
"You ok?" He asks
"I'm fine !, sorry Umm any more evidence ?"
"Umm yeah their was a bloody tissue on the floor and the truck had 60 peoples blood samples and the blood is all gone and their is just the bags they came in, it's like we're dealing with a vampire" he says
I throw up "a vampire !" I shout
"Woah, I'm joking I'm joking um I'm gonna send you home make sure you make it their ok and get better soon" he says.
3 hours later I wake up in my bed to the phone, I pick it up and it's my grandma, "Daisy I just saw the news do you believe me now!" I didn't say anything and I hang up, I get up grab my coat and walk out. I drive to my grandmas old house and I try to open the front door, it's locked so I go round the back of the house to try the back door, it was also locked, I then grab a brick from the floor and throw it at the window, I climb through it quickly, I'm in the house and it smells worse then it did before my grandma left, I don't know what was doing here but I couldn't stop my self from moving, I run down stairs in to the cellar and I start pulling all the book shelfs away from the walls, I didn't know grandma had a secret room in the cellar so I didn't exactly know what I was looking for, I then came across a rug and I moved it off, underneath was a Handel and i pulled it open, their was a ladder and I went down it, it was dark and smelt of salt and urine.
The ladder was steep but I kept climbing down one step at a time. When I reached the bottom I flicked my torch on. I shined it all around the room and their was a whole shelf of pumpkins, salt and vinegar, I shine the light to the other side and I see pitch forks bow and arrows and daggers. I saw a book shelf and the big brown book my grandma told me about. Is this all a joke or is this actually real right now. I brush the dust off the book and I open it to page 1, it says
'So your new to this, well I'm Peter Wellington and I don't know who I am to you, but what I can tell you is I'm a vampire slayer and I'm writing this book so we can keep it in our blood stream and show you what your family really is' I read on and on and on and I'm on page 37 iv been and hour now and so far I know this is real and Peter is telling me what vampires are, he described them as blood hungry beasts that just want To kill you, he said you must never befriend one as your life is already at risk, he's killed many of vampires in his time and I remember every single word he says,
I then start to read on weapons and what ones to use and when to use them, I'm learning so much in 4 hours then I have in a life time, I feel confident and I know now what the consequences are if I don't hurry up and kill this vampire, he tells me how to find a vampire and the first ting is blood, I need to cut my self and run around the woods at night or possibly in the shade where their is no day light. I set off straight away in to the neatest woods as I cut my hands and legs with my dagger.
