Chapter 2 sneaky

   Kate's PoV

After hours of waiting and lil Rain being impatient we finally arrive to out destination, the guy who is gonna be our father took our laggage with ease since its just a medium size bag filled with Rain and my clothes.

we walked out of the airport after checking our passport and tickets, Rain stayed by my side holding my hand while hugging his teddy bear that I gifted him when he was just 4 years old. Humming while looking around curious yet excited at the same time, his smile grew up to his ear, grinning cutely yet playfully as he saw the ice cream shop.

It has pink and white stripes design infront with big glass covering the window with adorable ice cream stickers at the side with long lavander curtain. The door handle is shaped like a candy cane while at the very top you can see a white lining like a melting ice cream and above that you'll see three giant cones with also three diffrent types of color ice cream and a cherry on top. At the side you can see a menu written with different kinds of colour chalk on a black board.

We entered inside since the couple noticed my little brother's excitment, lil Rain squealed hugging my side happily while looking around observing our surroundings. The lighting have neon pink aesthetic and ice cream come chairs with white plain table. At the very corner his favorite place of every ice cream shop, the counter; he ran to the counter tripping a little as I lift him up and walked over to the counter watching my little brother staring at every flavour they have drooling cutely, I chuckle at his cuteness.

He then pointed at chocolate and vanilla flavoured ice cream yet staring at the strawberry flavoured one "big sissy I want those peez oh and add stwaberwy too tankchoo" he said while looking at me with his big doe puppy eyes making my heart melt and giggle kissing his cheek, i nodded my head then walk over to the cashier and ordered what he wanted. "Can i have 2, three scoop of these falvours please" pointing at the flavours lil Rain wants

then look back to the couple without them noticing.

"These two lil shit are so slow Im so tired" the woman mumble under her breath but I still heard it,they seem to becoming impatient nd annoyed but I let it go and cleared my throat wanting to have their attention. They looked at me then smiling but i know that its fake, I then asked them "are you guys gonna order too?" Keeps looking at them observing and waiting for them, as the guy our "dad" answered " Um... no dear your mom is on a diet and I dont eat sweet so you both have fun" he said keeping up his tight smile.

"Creepy" I whispered then turns arnd seeing my little brother already eating and enjoying his ice cream while holding my share. We got out of the shop and went to the taxi cab corner just infront of the ice cream shop.

After that little time we arrived at the house we're suppose to live in, It wasn't that big. The house is made of bricks with wooden window and small stairs in front of the house  and around it have bushes and dead roses. It has a big tree at the corner with little swing that looks like it never been use in a long time, the house is quite decent to live in but it looks unwelcoming, creepy and cold.

I pushed my negative thoughts and just thought about my little brother's future :this is good for my lil Rain to live with a mom and dad, to feel what a real family really means: smiles a bit as we entered inside it was dark and i smell old dust and showed us our room. I requested to share a room with my baby brother so if he ever need me I'll be there for him and YES I'm overprotective when it comes to my little brother as he's the most  important little bean that I only have left. I know that these bad guys arw still there searching for me and i wouldn't risk having my lil brother in danger.
