"Wait, so someone was in your house?" Jane, one of Eleanor's friends asked after Eleanor explained what had happened last night.

"How else would the note get there?"

"One of the maids could've put it there." She theorized and shrugged her shoulders.

Eleanor shook her head causing her her hair to move as well. "No, that doesn't make any sense. I got the same note at the party with the same font and sized paper, plus they both said 'Anon' on it."

"Yeah, you have a point." Jane said and furrowed her eyebrows.

Eleanor stood up and began to pace across her bedroom. "What do I do? Do I call the police?"

"I don't think they can do anything honestly." Jane replied, her hazel eyes watching her friend pace anxiously.

"If this person can get through all the security in my house, what will he do to me?" She asked nervously stopping in front of Jane.

"That's it!" Jane shouted and stood up.

"What?" She asked looking at her friend confused.

"The cameras around your house! Maybe they caught the person on film."

Eleanor grinned and nodded. She motioned for Jane to follow her and began to walk to the security office located on her property.

"Angus?" She asked one of the security guard as they entered the room. He was a middle aged man, 44 years old. His hair was was thinning and was starting to turn a little grey.

"Hello, Miss White!" He greeted. "How can I help you?"

"Can you pull up the video of all the security camera footage from the time I was at my father's event?"

"Sure." He said and began to search for the recordings on the computers. "That's odd."

"What?" Jane asked.

"There is no evidence of any of the cameras recording from 8:00pm to 12:00am."

"What do you mean there isn't any evidence? There has to be." Eleanor said.

"There isn't anything I can do, but one of my mates is really good with computers. I'll give him a ring." Angus said and reached for the phone.

"Thanks so much." Eleanor said and the girls exited the room.

"What now?" Jane asked and huffed a breath.

"Let's go to where the roses came from. Maybe they'll have some information about whoever this is." Eleanor suggested.

"Good idea, I'll get my coat."

Eleanor called a car to drive them to the flower shop. When it arrived, both girls got into the car and told the address to the driver. Ten minutes later the arrived to 'Nancy's Flower Shop'.

Eleanor thanked the driver and exited the vehicle. They walked up to the entrance of the shop. The door had the same logo that was on the card. The opened the door causing a bell to jingle.

The shop had rows and rows of different varieties of flowers and plants. The girls noticed it had a eerie feel to it; it was cold, damp, and dim causing goosebumps on their skin.

"Okay, this is creepy." Jane commented as they walked around the room.

"Let's find the owner."

"Can't I just stay in the car?" Jane pleaded.

"Jane, it's a flower shop. Not a haunted house." Eleanor replied.

They began walking towards the back of the shop. There was a cash register placed on a counter along with a bell. Eleanor placed her hand on the bell causing it to ring. A door opened and a older woman shuffled out holding multiple plants. She smiled at the girls through the leaves and set the flowers on the counter.
