CLARKE'S POV:
"Clarke! Hurry up! I have to be home in four hours!" Octavia screamed as I was almost finished gathering my things.
This summer Octavia had offered for me to come home with her for the summer, since I would be home by myself. My mom was one of the top most-paid surgeons in the country, and she was almost always out of the house. I never really had someone to take care of me after my dad passed.
"Coming!" I shouted as I was coming out of my dorm room.
"I am so excited about this summer! I have so many places I want to go with you! We are going to have so much fun!" O cheered as we were stepping onto the bus.
O was like my sister. I have known her since I came to Arke in 3rd grade. We are now seniors in high school and closer than ever! We have roomed together all our years here. We've had each other's backs when it came to boys, cat fights, and teachers getting on our last nerve.
"Clarke, my brother is picking us up when we get to our bus stop so we don't have to take a taxi!"
Octavia and I haven't been able to get a license since we were in boarding school, and everything we needed was on campus. It really stunk because I have been looking forward to driving since last year.
"Octavia, you never told me you had a brother and we've been knowing each other for 10 years!"
"Clarke, I have a brother. There, I told you! I probably never told you about him because I was happy to get away from him for the school year. He is way too overprotective! Every summer he never lets me get out of the house unless I inform him of where I'm going!" Octavia ranted.
"Wow! Looks like he cares about you a little too much, O!" Clarke said sarcastically.
The rest of the bus ride we sat in silence. I had just started to fall asleep when Octavia started shaking me to wake up.
"Look we're here! And there's Bell!"
