Halloween (Fluff)

It was a chilly evening on October 31st, Many kids were getting ready for trick or treating, some families held Halloween parties and others just stayed home for the evening.

Two close friends were planning on spending the evening together, those two friends were Kiyotaka Ishimaru and Mondo Owada. They had know one another since they were babies, the two were inseparable even if they were complete opposites. Kiyotaka was your typical 'goody-toe shoes' kind of student who always followed the rules and spent free time studying. On the other hand, Mondo was a reckless child always getting into trouble and not caring about his education, he would rather have fun then be stuck doing work all day.

Mondo made his way to his best friends house, he was wearing a werewolf costume that his older brother kindly provided for him along with a bright orange pumpkin bucket for all his candy to be stored in. Mondo walked up to his friends doorstep, he was about to knock on the door until it swung open revealing Kiyotaka wearing a black and red cape, he had knee high black boots with the rest of his clothing being black. He had fake blood dripping from his mouth along with sharp fangs.

"Mondo! you look great!" Kiyotaka complimented while embracing his friend with a tight hug.

"Heh thanks Daiya got it for me!" Mondo replied, returning the hug.

Not long after the two pulled away, Happily making their way down the heavily decorated streets occasionally bickering amongst themselves. They bumped into a few classmates along their way, for instants not long ago the two boys saw three of their classmates roaming the streets, they were Kyoko, Makoto and Byakuya. Kyoko was dressed as a detective, she loved everything about them and swore one day she would become one, Makoto was dressed as a zombie and Byakuya was dress in a suit with fake blood splattered on it. (IDK WHAT HE WOULD WEAR OK)

After a bit of trick or treating, the two boys found themselves in front of a spooky looking house, it had many fake bodies around along with blood splatters on the door. There was a sign on the wall saying not to enter unless you wanted a scare. Kiyotaka was freaked out by the whole thing and stayed behind Mondo, clinging onto his shoulders not wanting to go inside.

"M-Mondo.. D-Do we have to go in..." 

"Of course it Halloween, but If ya don't wanna go in i'll just go myself!"

Kiyotaka felt guilty for letting his friend go inside alone, This was time for them to spend time together after all. Kiyotaka hesitantly followed Mondo inside the creepy looking house, making sure to stay close.

The two boys looked around the house, it looked even more creepy on the inside fake blood basically painted the walls of the house, Fake corpses lay on the ground some of them even dangling from the ceiling. Mondo and Kiyotaka cautiously walked through the silent halls staying close to each other and being careful of where they stepped.

Mondo went ahead of Kiyotaka, leaving him alone in the heavily decorated halls, Suddenly Kiyotaka felt something grab his leg, he quickly spun his head towards whatever had just grabbed him at first he assumed it was Mondo but boy was he wrong, his eyes widened when he saw that one of the many 'corpses' laying on the ground had got a hold of his ankle. He let out a terrified scream, and began to try and kick the thing off him, that didn't help he ended up falling to the ground giving the assumed 'zombie' the chance to begin dragging him to the basement.

Mondo heard the screams of his best friend and began to run towards the sound. He peaked his head out the doorway to reveal his raven haired friend being dragged to what he could only assume was the basement. 

Mondo ran down the flight of stairs only to see there was a party being held, he scanned the room in hopes of finding his best friend. Soon his eyes caught sight of Kiyotaka, he ran towards the crying boy wrapping him in a hug which Kiyotaka easily returned.

 Mondo soon averted his gaze to the 'corpse' that had kidnapped Kiyotaka, he scowled at the person who was lightly chuckling to themselves.

"What the heck was that for!?" Mondo growled at the older man.

"Sorry kid, didn't want you two missing the party down here!" The man replied with a wide smile.

"ya didn't needta scare him like that!"

"Geez i'm sorry i didn't mean to worry him so much"

Mondo just held Kiyotaka closer to him scanning the room for anything that could comfort the crying boy, Mondo soon realised that there were indeed many other kids here that all seemed to be enjoying themselves by either eating candy or playing some games. Mondo knew how much Kiyotaka hated crowed areas, he pulled Kiyotaka to his feet and began to lead him out of the spooky looking house.

It was pitch black outside now, Mondo looked up at the star filled sky, soon an idea hit Mondo, he turned to Kiyotaka who was still quite upset from early.

"Hey Taka! I have a great idea to cheer ya up!"

"R-Really..?"

"Yeah come on!"

Mondo began to drag Kiyotaka to a nearby park, the two always came here during daytime after school hours it was kind of the first place Mondo could think of for his idea. The two ran up a grassy hill, once they had reached the top Mondo motioned Kiyotaka to lay down next to him. Kiyotaka of course obeyed and planted himself on the patch of grass next to Mondo, he turned his head to look up at the sky his eyes lit up immediately once he saw how many stars were scattered around the pitch black sky.

"Mondo this is wonderful thank you for bringing me here i feel much better!" Kiyotaka remarked with a massive grin on his face.

"No problem bro! it's the least i can do for making ya go in that creepy house with me"

The two bickered the night away joking about the creepy house and how fun their time was. soon the two boys parted ways and returned home. That was a day to remember in their eyes, they promised that they would have more fun days like this one!
