Noah’s P.O.V.

I had just got out of a 3 hour long meeting with my beta, advisor, head tracker, head warrior, and my dad. I was starving and on my way to the diner my beta’s mate’s grandmother owns. As I am walking up to the front door my beta James links me that they had seen signs of a rogue on the south border.

I felt myself bump into someone. “Oh my gosh. I am so sorry. I didn’t see you.” I look down at this girl around 5 foot maybe 4 inches. With the most angelic white hair I have ever seen. I speak quickly. “No it’s my fault I was not watching where I was going.” I hurry into the diner.

Lily walks up to me. “You good? You look like you just saw a ghost.” “Yeah, I’m fine. I just bumped into the girl there with the white hair.” I watch as she gets to her jeep. She turns around and looks right at me. I tried to look away but it was like I couldn’t. “Yeah she is new in town.” “Did you catch her name?” I looked at Lily right as she shook her head no.

After I finished eating I headed back to the pack house. As soon as I arrive one of my warriors link's me. ‘Alpha you need to get to the south border now we found another rogue. We are chasing him now.’ ‘Okay I am on my way.’

I shift shredding my clothes, howling letting my warriors know I am on my way, running as fast as I can. I get there in a few minutes. Right as I got there my warriors had the rouge, but I could smell blood.

I walk over and see the girl from the diner passed out on the ground with a bite wound on her leg. I knelt down beside her and touched her leg feeling the sparks I backed up. “You good Noah.” I look up at my head warrior Lewis. “Yeah I am fine. This must be the person renting the house on the edge of our border.” I look around.

“Lewis take her back to her house and clean and bandage her leg for me.” “Yes alpha.” Lewis picks her up and starts carrying her home. “And Lewis, be careful with her.” He didn’t respond but I knew he heard me. I look over at the rogue.

“And now I can take care of you.” I turn and shift running to the cells hearing my warriors following behind me. I change and grab a pair of shorts from behind a bush putting them as my warriors approach with the rogue. They went in before me, chaining him up while I made my way slowly down the stairs.

Lewis linked me. ‘Okay she is safe at home and her bite looks good.’ ‘Okay meet back at the cells I just got here.’ I put my mind block back up, as I walk in front of the rogue’s cell. I look at my warriors and motion for them to stand outside.

I wait for them to leave before walking in. “Who are you?” He just watched me. I growled. “I asked you a question. You can not just come onto my land and attack an innocent human for no reason.” I pause, letting him think. “Now I am going to ask again. Who. are. you?” After a few seconds he still didn’t say anything so I punched him in the jaw.

“Wow he hasn’t even been down here for 5 minutes and you already hit him. Either you are in a bad mood or that girl means something to you.” Lewis says as he enters. That comment perked the rogue's interest as he straightened up and looked at me. “I am just sick and tired of rogues thinking they can do whatever they want.” I growl punching him again.

After an hour of practically just hitting the rogue I decided I was done for the day. I clearly wasn’t getting anywhere with him. As I walk out I stop to talk to the guard. “Make sure he gets around the clock wolf-bane injections.” The guard nods his head.

I am walking back to the pack house with Lewis. “So Noah, when are you going to go see the girl?” I look at him. “Why would I go see her?” I state defensively.  Lewis puts his hands up in a surrender.

“Dude I was just asking since she got bit. She will turn at the next full moon. Thankfully we just had one so she has got a month, but someone still needs to talk to her.” I rub the back of my head. “Yeah I guess someone does need to tell her.” “I will have Lily do it, she has already met her.”

“But you are the alpha. Don’t you think you should do it? She will have to join a pack.” I think about it. “I will let Lily explain it to her and then I will talk to her. I do not want to scare her. I think a 6’6” guy walking up to your door telling you about werewolves would not go over very well.”

Lewis laughs. “Yeah, I guess you got a point there. You are pretty scary looking.” I smack Lewis in the back of the head. “Just go home and get some sleep. I have a feeling this is all just the beginning to all these rogue sightings.” With that Lewis goes home while I go back to my office so I can talk to Lily.

‘Lily I need you in my office.’ ‘Yes alpha.’ A few minutes later I hear a knock at my door. “Come in.” Lily opens the door and shuts it behind her and sits in the chair in front of my desk. “What do you need, Noah?”

“You remember that girl from the diner today. The one with the white hair.” She nodded her head. “Well we have a problem. She was attacked by a rogue and I need you to talk to her.” She looks at me like I grew two heads. “You want me to tell her that she is going to turn into a werewolf. I don't even know her name. What you want me to do is just walk up to her and be like ‘Hey it's nice to see you again. Oh my by the way at the next full you are going to turn into a werewolf which is a process you might not even live through.’”

I growl. “I don’t care how you do it. Just get it done.” Lily frowns. “You do realize that most humans don’t live through their first change.” I sign looking out my window. “Yeah I know but she has to live.” With that said Lily leaves and I continue to stare out my window only thinking about my angelic mate that might not even live past the next full moon.
