1. The Friendship Bond

Ashwin POV:

Hey readers! This is me, Ashwin.

Never in my life, I thought I'll meet a set of people and they will become my family out of nowhere. But it happened, because of these idiots. They have changed my life upside down and brought colors into my life.

It's been almost 5 months since the show started. I still remember the first day

Everyone introduced themselves and shared their cooking Journey. Even I shared mine.

I grew up watching my sister try various cuisines, that made me curious. After tasting them, I wanted to try cooking and that's how I got my passion for cooking. Especially, I love continental dishes.

I'm basically a shy guy. I never mingle with people. I did various short films and serials. In all those places, I never spoke to people apart from work. But in CWC, everything changed. I'm happy and comfortable with them. I miss these people when there's no shoot.

Sarath was the first friend I made there. On my first pair up, I got paired up with him. He was a supportive person and he's very talented too. In the first week, we won the title for "Best performers of the Week". Sarath is my trustable buddy, I've  spoken to him about my personal  problems and he had given me solutions many times. 

There come's the most interesting creature, Manimegalai.

We will have a brother/Sister in our life, with whom we will fight but we never ever wanna lose them. Manimegalai is that kind of person in my life. We are like Tom and Jerry, but deep down we care for each other. I like to tease her and see her irritated. Even she likes to tease me. On a few occasions, she even took my cooking utensils and ran away just to see me tense. I felt like hitting her with a Pan whenever she does that

I got to work with Manimegalai twice until now. Every time we get paired up with her, my cooking area will be a disaster.

Another person coming to mind when I think of CWC is Pugazh. He calls me Maapla(Sister's Husband) and I call him Machan(Best friend/Brother in law). He's my best buddy after Sarath. 

I didn't get an opportunity to pair up with Pugazh for a very long time. But when I got paired up with him, I was happy to the core. He literally jumped on me in our first pairing. It'll forever remain special in my heart. It was a beautiful moment.

The relationship between Pugazh and Shivangi was amazing. There's no expectations, only pure love and innocence. They're the epitome of perfect sister and brother. Pugazh cares for Shivangi like a real brother. Shivangi is the apple of Pugazh's eyes.

Shivangi's innocence amused me. She is an open book, she can't keep anything inside her. In the first week itself she told me she has a crush on me. I was dumbfounded with her honesty.

I got paired up with her for most of the time. As she says it's "Kadavul oda Setting." (God's Setting)

Each and every time when I get paired up with her, our bond became stronger. Her care when I accidentally touched hot vessels or accidentally cut my fingers, her possessiveness when Sunitha talked to me, her innocent nature, everything was pure. She didn't do anything just to make content, she did everything from her heart.

There have been instances where we both cared for each other, got happy for each other and even supported each other. She had become a good friend to me. We started getting comfortable with each other both onscreen and off-screen.

She likes to be called as rowdy (Don), so I call her as Rowdy. She calls me "Ashwineeyy." No one has ever called me with a weird name like this.  Generally people shorten the names, but this rowdy is different, She lengthened my name! But still, I find that cute. No matter what I'm doing, Whenever she calls me "Ashwineeyy", I smile instantly. 

I'm someone who wants everything to be perfect. When things don't go in the way I expected, I get stressed and tense. That happens in cooking too. Shivangi knows how to calm me when I get tense or stressed. Either by her singing or just doing some cute antics, she calms me. I call her Kulukulu(A feeling of chillness) at times as calms me when I'm being Volcano.

This is just an introduction chapter. The real story will start from the next chapter.
