River's POV-
Sirius Black stared between me and Potter.
"If you want to kill them, you'll have to kill both of us too!" Weasley yelled, getting up and standing in front of all of us, I looked at him surprised as he grabbed my arm and shoved me behind him as well.
"No, only one will die tonight," He said.
"Then it will be you!" Potter yelled at him, gripping his wand tightly, and pushing past Weasley, Granger and I grab his arms and help him back on the bed,
"Harry! No!" Granger yelled, as we looked back at Potter
"Going to kill me, Harry?" Black said, titling his head at Potter,
"Yes," Potter raises his wand in the air, hand shaking slightly.
Then someone kicked the door down, and Professor Lupin walked in. He stared at Black, barely noticing we were here.
"Professor Lupin!" We yelled,
"Looking a bit ragged, aren't we, Sirius? Finally, the skin reflects the madness within," Lupin said.
"You'd know all about the madness within, wouldn't you, Remus?" Sirius said, they glared at each other, Lupin hugs him, tightly. I look at the others confused who stare back just as confused.
"No! I trusted you! I covered for you!" Granger yells, pointing a shaky finger at him,
"He's a werewolf! That's why he's been missing classes!" Lupin doesn't turn to look at us but stares at Black, who had an amused expression on his face.
"How long have you know?" Lupin asked, turning around,
"Since Professor Snape set the essay,"
"You are the brightest witch of your age I've ever met Hermione," Lupin said, smiling. Black rolled his eyes,
"Yes, you glow like the sun. And you howl at the moon. Enough talk! He dies. Now. If you won't do it with me, Remus, I'll do it alone." Sirius growled,
"Sirius! Wait!" Lupin yelled, Black turned on him, angrily.
"I did my waiting! Twelve years of it! In Azkaban! Trust me, you wouldn't have lasted a week!" Black yelled, Lupin eyed him nervously but nodded.
"Alright then, as you wish, "
"No!" Potter yelled, Lupin flicks his wand at Potter, disarming us all and putting the wands on a table.
"You betrayed our parents! You sold them to Voldemort!" Potter yelled, pointing at both of us,
"It's a lie! I never would've betrayed James and Lily!" Sirius yelled,
"Harry! You've got to listen - "Lupin tried,
"Did he listen! When our mother was dying! Did he hear her screaming!"
"No! I wasn't there! And I'll regret it for the rest of my life!" Sirius yelled, looking like he was on the verge of tears,
"Someone else betrayed your parents, Harry. Someone in this room right now. Someone who, until quite recently, I believed to be dead." Lupin yelled,
"He's as good, as dead," Sirius spat.
"What're you talking about? There's nobody here." I said, speaking for the first time, Sirius glanced at me, making me nervous.
"Oh yes there is," Sirius said, smiling, before turning to Weasley.
"Come out Peter, come out and play, come out," He sang, Weasley leaned away from him, trying to get as far as he could.
