Sally's had existed since long before Hood was even born. It had been run by the same family for generations. Only possible because the bar had loyal customers and a headstrong owner willing to protect it.

"Sally's, huh. Do they have anything that isn't alcohol?"

Hood chuckled. "I'll order a soda for you."

"I don't need your charity." She grumbles, but doesn't say any more.

The inside of Sally's is filled, as usual, with the normal drunks, the henchmen of various villains and the guy Jason is meeting with, Killer Croc.

He tends to stay in his own club, but Sally's is really the best place to meet people if you want security.

Marinette (she'd introduced herself before they arrived) looked around before gravitating towards the poker table where she was promptly dealt in.

Hood just went and got himself a beer and a coke for Marinette.

The bartender was quick and soon he was watching the poker table.

Marinette was wiping the ground with them.

Probably the best poker player he'd seen in a long time. And that's saying something since Croc is looking like he's planning on playing, the man (beast?) is one hell of a player.

It doesn't take long until the winnings is in the kids pockets and Hood hands her the soda. "Now that's some skills, right there."

The praise seemingly brightens her spirits because she accepts another game, this one with Croc in it.

Marinette can admit that while it may not have been the smartest choice, following Hood had been a fun choice.

And she's earning some extra cash, so why not?

Besides, she's about to wipe the floor with Killer Croc himself. There's a little bit of pride in the thought.

KC just laughs when he realizes that he's lost, much to the amazement of the other patrons. They had looked on like they were expecting him to eat her.

She's handed her winnings before he goes to talk with Red Hood about something.

For a moment she wonders if she should go with Red Hood when he leaves, but she decides to stay for another few hours before heading home to her dog.

Butch doesn't seem to mind that she dissapeared for a few hours, instead just giving a happy yip. Marinette isn't entierly sure that he can bark like a normal dog, but he's still charming to her.

When morning comes she's gotten a few hours of sleep and is ready to work.

She has three dresses to start on. The one for Barbara Gordon has a shorter skirt and is a nice sky blue that fades into a dark blue at the bottom of the skirt. It's the only dress with short sleeves, Marinette guesses that it's because it might be nicer since the woman is in a wheelchair.

The dress takes all of her work hours during Monday and most of Tuesday. On Wednesday she continues getting the stoor in order and on Thursday she installs security messures that should be enough to deterr robbers, and if it doesn't then they're not gonna get far.

She spends Friday and Saturday finishing the dress, then she dedicates her time to cuddling with Butch.

On Sunday she goes back to Sally's.

For a short moment everyone is staring at her, then everyone goes back to what they were doing.

"Would ya look at that.... Want to be dealt in?" One of the guys from the last Sunday says.
