It was a long day at work, it had me beat but in the end it's worth it. The sunset was the perfect way to leave work. How the colors shifted from yellow into orange and finally blue. The blending shadowed over by grey to purple fluffy clouds.

My relationships with my bosses was incredibly well put together, Ally was a photographer and so she gave me her images. Amber enjoys walking me home so we both enjoyed the night sky. The bar was close to a forest, or rather a small crowd of trees. I never really found out, I've been too busy with work and unpacking. I had too much stuff, it might be time to get rid of some unneeded things.

After taking in the fresh spring air, my adventure home was ahead of me. The sun still barely above trees height, giving leeway to get home before it's too dark. Home wasn't much, home was the sweet boy in class who was helpful to everyone. Never shy, always funny and kind. That's what my home was. A sweet little apartment with no fixer uppers needed. He's in great condition for his cost.

Matter of fact, I owned a sweet (pet) named Felix. Felix was my support animal, even though the need for a support animal is not needed in my case. But I like to call him my support animal, since I can stub my toe and curse like a sailor and he'd curse with me by making his cute sounds. I love him, and I know he loves me.

My excitement to get home just rose as I journeyed across streets, around random drunken people. Avoiding the alleyways that would soon be flooded with the most dangerous of darks. The light from the sky was fading dull, the moon beginning to show off its bright glow. Oh, how the moon too was beautiful. Starring long enough, craters are barely noticeable. When they are, it's somehow a nice sensation. Being able to see such a detail from so far away. Aren't human creatures amazing?

The walk continued for a few minutes, my apartment ever so slowly fading into my sight of vision. The sun was set by now, the orange and yellow gone from the now navy dull blue sky. Stars twinkling, disappearing and reappearing while the clouds travel over the stars.

The bed began to swallow me, my comfort growing by the second. The following day was my day off. Maybe this will be a great opportunity to get rid of some stuff. There was an a children hospital down town a few miles away? Or should I mail things out? Or who says I have things for children? We'll just have to find out, won't we Felix?

My gaze shifted to my adorable (pet). He slept quietly on the bed beside me, no care in the world. Just a cute free (pet).

(ᵔᴥᵔ) Next day

The gentle breeze was beginning to flood in the open doorway of the bar, which was currently more of a restaurant. The light of the sun resting on all sorts of areas, with the help of windows. Standing behind the bars island reminded me of how I met my ex, Ethan. Ethan and I were friends now, things ended well thankfully. So looking back on our relationship never made me feel uneasy.

As of the saying "Speak of the devil and they will appear" goes, Ethan walked through the open doors. His hair being ruffled by the soft breeze continuously coming in. My hand came up from my side, giving a welcoming wave and my lips began to part attempting to say 'Welcome' but he beat me to speaking.

"Y/N! Gosh it's been a while! Look at your fine ass, you were serious about the bartender thing? I'm not hating, you just bring back memories." Of course I was, I was welcomed with open arms that were warm and loving. I couldn't turn down the sweetest of offers. But also a chance at my first job? Of course I'd take it! Ethan sat down on the barstool closest to me, setting both of his elbows on the islands counter top. His hands propping his head up as he looks at me.

"Yes, actually." Nodding my head, I start to turn, glancing back at Ethan. "What would you like, sir?" Ethan seemed to perk up, my gaze turned to grab a glass, ready to grab what was needed for his drink.

"One shot of Vodka and a whole wine glass. How about some cherries and a nice plate of you, to go with it?" Immediately my eyes rolled, a smile plastered on my face. Ethan insists we get back together, although I refuse most the time. He doesn't pressure me but he doesn't give up. He didn't do anything wrong in the relationship, nor did I. But he was having a rough patch in his life and needed as little things to worry about. Once he was out of it, he came bouncing back. He's still a very close friend of mine, even though it's been a while since we chatted.

"You know, that's the best thing you could've ordered. Especially after that night long ago, when you ordered 80% water and 20% Vodka."

"Hey, I was dared to okay? It wasn't that bad, you took it with me!" He did had a point, I did drink it. But it was terrible.

"Fair, but you know that cherries and wine glass sound good at 9pm sharp." My back no longer faced Ethan, my hands rested on my hips. Ethan's face flushed pink while he jumped out of his seat. He gave me finger guns as he walked backwards towards the front doors.

"Bet bitch! Bet! Send me your address, still got Instagram right? Send me your number while you're at it! I will s-" Ethan was cut off, his back coming straight in contact with a table. Due to Ethan walking backwards and nonstop blabbering, he walked right into a mans table. I wasn't able to warn him. As Ethan completely ignored this, I quickly grabbed a wash cloth and ran over to the gentlemen's table.

"I'm so sorry, sir. He's such an idiot, never changes."
