"Bet bitch! Bet! Send me your address, still got Instagram right? Send me your number while you're at it! I will s-" Ethan was cut off, his back coming straight in contact with a table. Due to Ethan walking backwards and nonstop blabbering, he walked right into a mans table. I wasn't able to warn him. As Ethan completely ignored this, I quickly grabbed a wash cloth and ran over to the gentlemen's table.

"I'm so sorry, sir. He's such an idiot, never changes."

The poor man had red wine all over his nice white dress shirt. He was dressed for an occasion, maybe waiting for a date? As I got closer, ready to wipe down his table and offer any service. A loud and stern voice cleared their throat. A female.

"Ahem, you maid/butler? Yeah, no. You just ruined our date and my new dress. Do you know how much this dress was?" Before I could speak, she continued. "$60! I can't believe you didn't acknowledge me, only my boyfriend. I bet you did it on purpose! You want to get in his pants, don't you?!" My face burned, from embarrassment and from the urge to cry. This was so out of nowhere, she was even accusing me. Is this a Karen? I've met a Karen and she was super nice!

"Now you're spacing out. Unbelievable! Beet red! You do want to get in my mans pants! Go get your manager, right now you little whore!" My feet started to dart off, tears threatening to show up. Amber was on shift today, I know Amber is like my best friend. But what if she believes this woman? I can't help but worry. As I reached the manager lounge, my hand began to shake violently. I was terrified I'd lose everything over a whine spill.

Amber open the door, the softest of smiles on her face. Her hand wrapped around mine, bringing me with her. Of course I trailed behind her, I'd cry if I was face to face with this woman.

"Ma'am, I heard some yelling? What's your issue? Hm?" Amber had so much confidence, she didn't shy away like I did. I looked up to Amber, she was close in age but I loved her like a mom.

"This little shit spilled my drink all over my new outfit! Which! Was $60! $60!! I want a new drink and a $100 bill to buy me a new outfit! Also! This little slut was also looking at my man!! They should be fired on the spot!" Her voice was like a lion, roaring so loudly. I clenched onto Amber's hand. I couldn't help but whisper behind her.

"Ethan was here, he bumped into her table. I'm sorry, I should've warned him. I'll take full responsibility." I was desperate for this to end, I felt terrible. Even though she was so loud. I flinched when Amber inhaled deeply, she was about to let it out and I couldn't wait.

"My name is Y/N. I'm so so sorry for your shirt, and for ruining your date. I'll take full responsibility officer." I gave a bow, mainly to hide my embarrassment. I wanted to leave, hide under my covers. A hand rested on my head, my body jolted in response. Glancing up, his gaze was down on me.

"Head up, kid. You helped me see her real nature. I can't thank you enough. Now, here's my tip for you and I'll pay for the full meal. Then I'll be on my way." I nodded quickly, Amber was already behind the island tallying their order. The Karen lady sat there flabbergasted. I gave her a small glance, which turned into a big mistake.

She started to come closer and closer, before she was practically breathing down my neck.

"Can I help you?" My voice was in a hush whisper, but calm and collected. Amber gave me some confidence. She was no longer a threat, nor was she ever. My very existence seemed to piss her off, she was snarling like an animal.

"It's all your fault!" Her hands grabbed my throat, all I could do was gasp and dig my hands into hers, trying to pry open her hands. I was losing air, quickly. I was panicked, but I collected as much breath as I can. My eyes began to blur, but still able to see her legs. I kicked her shin, using all the force I could. Her hands barely let go of my neck. But a force yanked me out of her grasp. Gasping and wheezing, my eyes tearing up. I couldn't see, who was it? Amber? The officer? I was frantic, but the moment I felt her hand stroke my head I started to calm down. Amber. I couldn't see, but she does this whenever Ally or I can't calm down.

I coughed and choked, she didn't have the best grip, but it was enough. My vision was lost for the time being, so I just shut them. Frantic people and my heavy breathing filled the room. My guess was they got her cuffed.
