Roman was able to get Virgil to slip after a rough week and had so many plans, but of course, he didn't want to overwhelm Virgil so he choose three things and went with them.
Virgil was kicking his feet, he currently had on a onesie with bats all over them, overalls, and of course Mr. spider on his head.
Roman came in, smiling at just how adorable Virgil was, and picked him up "ready to go?" Virgil nodded enthusiastically
Roman ended up taking him t build-a-bear first, he wasn't surprised when Virgil picked out jack and sally.

As soon as Virgil got ahold of them he showed no sign of letting them go anytime soon. roman just kissed his head and picked him up, taking him to the park nearby
Virgil glanced around at some of the kids, deciding to just sick by the swings since no one else was there
Roman set up a small picnic by a tree and after a bit asked Virgil if he wanted to eat. of course, he said yes and politely asked if jack and sally wanted anything before eating.
After an hour Virgil rubbed his eyes and leaned against roman, yawning a bit.
"Is someone tired?" Roman asked, starting to pack a few things up
"no-!" Virgil quickly defended but he yawned again and huffed " 'k maybee-"
Roman kissed his head and picked him up, putting everything back in the basket and heading home
About halfway home Roman could tell Virgil had fallen asleep because he dropped Jack and didn't fuss. Roman picked jack back up and carried him in the basket the rest of the way home.
Virgil woke up no longer little, he quickly noticed jack and sally under the nightmare before Christmas poster. He glanced at the floor and found the caregiver asleep on the floor, Virgil smiled and threw a blanket over him.
