"You ready for tonight?" Jess asked Caroline, "Remember to bring blankets, pillows, and LOTS of popcorn!!"

"I won't forget!" replied Caroline.
She watched as Jess trudged off to her next period. Band! :(

Nobody like band. NOBODY!! It wasn't the playing or the instrument that people didn't like, it was the teacher. Mr. Brown. (Dramatic music (DU DU DUUU!!))

Her hair bounced as she left. Jess always kept her blond hair in two fish-tail braids, saying it was her favorite type of hair style and she would wear it exactly the same for prom next year.
Finally, Caroline headed off to her next class. Past the 100 hallway and then the 800's hallway to come to the art classroom.

"Bus route 24 is here." Mrs. Campbell called over the loud speaker.
"Come on Mel." Caroline called across the room. Beckoning for them to leave and meet up with Jess at the conner of the the hall.
Melody had dark brown hair, some might even call it black. She always kept it down letting it flow, just like her mood. She was always calm and keeping her cool, though she didn't talk much... She was very popular, but decided to hang out with less popular kids like Caroline and Jess.

Once they got on the bus, the girls went over the check-list again.
-Sleeping bags
"Check"
-Pillows
"Check"
-Stash of Candy
"Check"
-Hair Brush
"Check"
-Tooth paste and toothbrush
"Check"
"Okay!" Jess exclaimed, "I think we are ready"

Caroline mentally did the checklist in her head to find out that she wanted just one more pillow and another candy bar.

She went down stairs with her over stuffed bag, filled with everything she though she would need to prevent and problems.

"Come on momm!!" Caroline cried! If the was one thing worst the being unprepared, it was being late. It was sooo annoying!!!!!

Melody packed her bags and headed down stairs for a word with her mom.
"Do you think I'll be safe?

"Yes, of course." Her mom replied
"Even with... well u know happening?"
"Yes! I mean worst comes worst, your friends find out and you'll have ur ear piece in the whole time."

"Yea. Everything will be alright." Melody said trying to convince herself she was indeed safe just a few houses down. She really wanted to have a sleepover, it would be her first one away from home. It would now be at Jess' house, in the middle of her house and Caroline's house.

As she got out of their car, she said to her mom "Bye mom. I'll see you tomorrow and whatever happens, I love you."

Once at Jess' house, they did nails, each other's hair, Jess insisted not to do hers because how can you do hair when it's in a braid. I said we could take it out, but she insisted NO. So then that was settled.

The girls played stupid board games like "chutes and ladders" and "monopoly". After a while that got boring so then we made cookies!!
"I call shot gun for the biggest one!!" Jess announced.

"What?!?" Caroline "No. Fair."
"How bout this, Melody judges a singing com. We'll use our old karaoke machine. It'll be really fun!"
"Ugh! Can't I just get it?? Whatever!" Caroline exclaimed, trying to hide a grin, know it would be really funny because she and Jess were terrible singers.

Jess and Caroline sung the same song because it was all of the girl's new favorite!! It was "Drivers License"
Over all Melody said she won but decided to give her prize to Jess' mom, for letting them make cookies.

A heavenly smells of the fresh made desserts filled up kitchen like Cheetah running as the cookies 🍪 became soft and the chocolate 🍫 melted. Chocolate chip cookies 🍪 were everybody's favorite!

"How bout some ice cream with those cookies girls? You could make a ice cream sandwich!!" Jess' mom said walking in to the danger zone were the
Delicious cookies laid.

"Yes!" Melody and Jess said in unison while Caroline replied "Okay!"

A few ice cream sandwiches later.....

" Ok" Jess whispered, "miraculous, Nail'd it, or Keep lookin?"

"Ummm..... How bout Carmen Sandiego? I started watching that recently. It is pretty good..." Melody whispered back.

"Ok" said Jess.

After a long while of watching Carmen Sandiego, the girls drifted off to sleep
Melody in the middle of them. Her hair now in a pony-tail.

Carolines bag laid beside her. She though she was prepared for everything. Everything but a murder.
