"And you're sure that the unstable Pokemon belongs to the humans?" A curious Mewtwo, the first of his kind, asked.
Newtwo, another Mewtwo, who so happened to be his sister, nodded. "Positive. All the Pokemon who came to me to seek refuge always said that it came from this direction, and always headed back. One even confirmed that they saw it with a human." She replied. Her brother nodded, returning his gaze toward the facility in front of them. It stood tall, with barriers and guards protecting it. "It must be important, for them to guard it this much."
Newtwo nodded, swishing her tail impatiently. They would attack now, but the humans would have seen them coming, since it was daylight.
The plan was to wait till it was night, then when the time was right, Mewtwo would summon a storm to help cover them.
Mewtwo hummed thoughtfully. Newtwo's gaze turned to him. "What's on your mind brother?"
"Did the Pokemon ever say what kind it was?" He asked. Newtwo shook her head. "No. It would always attack under the cover of darkness. The only thing they found odd about it was it could easily kill a Pokemon, but would only capture it. The ones who escaped said there was something wrong with it. As if it wasn't even a Pokemon, yet it was at the same time."
Mewtwo's brows furrowed. "Wonder what creature they've manipulated and tortured all these years we've been absent." He muttered angrily.
Newtwo couldn't blame him. She remembered her own creation and her time within a facility. The torture she'd been through before she managed to escape. That was 15 years ago, so they could've made anything in that amount of time.
Her fists clenched. Humans disgusted her. Almost all of them were evil. Newtwo calmed her breathing. That's right, almost. There was still the human Ash, and his friends, who'd helped both Newtwo and her brother.
Before Newtwo knew it, the sun was setting. Mewtwo started to summon the storm for their cover.
Now all they had to do was wait.(Later...)
Mewtwo had finished summoning the storm, thunder rumbled and lightning struck out above them.
Changing into her most powerful form, Newtwo turned into what the humans preferred to call "Mega Mewtwo Y".
"Do you have to show off like that?" Mewtwo grumbled a loud. Newtwo smirked. "You're just jealous that you can't transform." Mewtwo scoffed angrily, before quickly changing the subject. "Let's go, or else we'll be standing here all night arguing." He sped off, leaving Newtwo to chuckle to herself, before speeding off after him.
The facility got closer and closer by the second, until they were finally floating above the retched human laboratory.
With all his willpower, Mewtwo summoned a streak of lightning to hit the power poles, causing a power outage inside. At that, the Two's started to sneak around the facility, looking through windows for possible captured Pokemon and to find the strange experiment.
Zooming back and forth, Newtwo managed to find Poke balls inside one room. Smashing the glass, she stepped inside the dark area. All was quiet, so she walked over to the Poke balls. Tapping one gently, it shook violently, before a shivering Eevee emerged. Newtwo held out a hand. "It's ok, little one. I'm here to take you to safety." She whispered gently. The Eevee looked around in fear, before its gaze fell on something behind Newtwo. Its eyes widened in terror.
"BEHIND YOU!"
Newtwo swung around, just as a metal claw came slashing down. Grabbing the Eevee, Newtwo bolted out of the way. The metal claw crashed onto the table where Newtwo just stood.
Newtwo growled at the dark figure before her. She couldn't make out any features, but she could see one glowing red eye coming from what looked like the right eye socket.
Newtwo fled outside, where she knew she'd have a better opportunity at fighting whatever had attacked her. She placed Eevee down gently. "Go! Get out of here!" The Eevee obeyed, disappearing into the forest. Newtwo turned to face her attacker.
Now that it was outside, and with the lightning illuminating the night sky, she could see what exactly it was.
It was another Mewtwo. But it seemed off. A metal tube replaced where its second neck should've been, the red eye she'd seen earlier didn't fit the colour of left amber one, and there was still the metal claw that had almost killed her a few seconds ago. But that wasn't the only part that worried her.
The amber iris showed no life. As if it wasn't even alive. Yet the pale purple fur on her chest showed that she was breathing. It had no free will.
Newtwo gasped at the sight, before her shock turned to anger. How dare they create another Mewtwo, just to treat it like this.
Something in Newtwo told her that she should try to save this creature before her.
The creature flew towards her, fangs bared, claws outstretched. Newtwo dodged its attacked once again, then started flying toward the forest, the creature gaining on her. How it was keeping up with her, Newtwo didn't know. But she didn't stop. She started weaving in and out of the trees.
Newtwo heard a whooshing sound, before a shadow ball barely missed her head, hitting the tree in front of her. With a loud crash, the tree fell in front of the new Mewtwo. Newtwo's heart beat quickened. It was trying to kill her.
Shaking her head, she concentrated on the track in front of her. Instead of dodging the tree in front of her straight away, she waited.
She got closer and closer, the creature right on her tail.
Newtwo dodged the tree at the last second, leaving the creature no time to turn.
It crashed head first, letting out a screech as it fell to the ground.
Silence filled the air, as Newtwo slowly made her way closer to the creature. She soon spotted its unmoving form. Floating closer, she cautiously touched the Mewtwo's shoulder. It still didn't respond.
Tired, Newtwo returned to her original form, but still kept her guard up. Using her telekinesis, she gently picked up the unmoving form.
Newtwo headed towards the direction she and her brother had agreed to meet.
(Back at the laboratory)"Doctor Yung, the rogue Mewtwo experiment has Mewfive." A scientist told a frantic doctor in front of him. Dr Yung paced back and forth on his office floor. "Well go retrieve it! I've put too much into this experiment for it to go to waste!" He growled. The scientist, startled at the doctors reaction, nodded, before briskly walking off.
Doctor Yung stopped pacing, taking in the notes he'd taken of experiment Mewfive.
17 years. It took 17 years of research and experimenting to create Mewfive. He'd been paid good money for this creature to be the ultimate weapon.
And it was all about to go to waste because of a failed experiment.
He scrunched up his notes in frustration. "Curse you failed experiment." He seethed. "One day, your blood will flow freely, staining the ground where you stand. And I hope it will be my experiment who does it."
