hey my name is Amariyah. I'm 16. My birthday on April 20th. I play basketball I run track and I play volleyball. I have a sister named mya. I live with my mom and sister and I'm Michael Jordan's niece and I live in Atlanta.
I woke up at 9am to hear my mom calling me and my sister downstairs. I groaned and got out of bed to see what she wanted. I went downstairs to see Mya and my mom at the table eating breakfast.
Me- yes mom ?
Mom- damn all I get is a yes mom I don't get a Goodmorning mom or nothing?
Me- sorry Goodmorning mom
Mya- morning.
Me- so why did you call us downstairs so early it couldn't wait?
Mom- no. but you Guys are moving to California with your uncle because I'm going on a very long important business trip and I don't want to leave you guys here without an adult.
Me- when do we leave?
Mom- in 3 days
Me and Mya - 3 DAYS?!!
Mom- yes
Me- when were you going to tell us that we were moving so soon
Mom- *shrugs* whenever I felt like it
Mya- mom I can't just leave like this
Mom- and why not
Mya- *shrugs* school
Me- since when you been worried about school
Mya- I been serious about it
Me- girl you don't want to leave because you don't wanna leave Mykell trifling ass
Mya- we not even together
Me- I heard y'all all night so y'all obviously together
Mya- we friends with benefits
Me- friends with benefits my ass
Mom- watch your mouth and go upstairs and start packing after you eat
Me- I don't even wanna eat imma just start packing.
(I went upstairs.)
I was upstairs packing until I heard my phone ring. My bestie josh was calling me.
Josh- so you don't know how to text me now ?
Me- I'm sorryyyy hey bestt
Josh- mmh hey.
Me- stop acting like that wyd
Josh - nothing about to go to the gym wit Jalen wyd
Me- nothing packing
Josh-where you going ?
Me- my mom just told me and Mya we're moving to California with our uncle in 3 days.
Josh- SO IM FINNA SEE YOU
Me- yess
( I hear him talking to somebody else)
Josh- alr bestie I got to go I'll talk to you later love youuu
Me- okay I love you too
(He hung up)
I sighed and finished packing my clothes don't get me wrong California is nice but there isn't no place like home. I was just mad at the fact that I have to start a new school there and get new friends. getting new friends was easy for me because people just talk to me and then we're friends. Im going to miss Atlanta but California might make me have a different outlook on life.
