Tonight is the night I confess my feelings before summer break...

I let out a deep groan as I pull myself out of bed.

I've got this, right?

I pull on my jacket, which surprisingly isn't soaked from last night.., and head to the dining hall.

I walk in and spot the usual group of people I hang out, only except Taka hasn't arrived yet...

That gives me time to discuss the plan with Chihiro.

"So what's the plan, Mondo..?" Chihiro says, looking up from his phone.

"Good question.." I say.

Just as Chihiro was away to say something, I hear him.

Fuck, he's here..

"Good morning everyone! I apologise that I'm late, heh.."  He says as he sits across from me.

"'Mornin'.." I mutter, pulling out my phone.

Class starts soon anyway, I guess I'll think about what I'll do then..

Class rolls around and I'm not paying attention as usual.. I'm too busy for that right now.

I guess I'll meet up with him at Leon's dorm.. No- I'll find him there...

Fuck why is this so hard...

I spent so much time having a gay panic that I didn't realise that class ended.

"Mondo.. We can leave now..?" Taka said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, I knew that.." I say, grabbing my stuff to leave.

Hours go by and finally class is over for the day.

Time to get mentally prepared because tonight is probably going great, or the complete opposite...

I didn't bother wearing anything "nice",  what's the point? It's just a party Leon's hosting anyway..

Waiting for night to come I check my messages,

NEW MESSAGE: LEON
NEW MESSAGE: HIRO
NEW MESSAGE: DAIYA

NEW MESSAGE: TAKA

Taka: Hey bro, are you still attending Leon's party?

Fuck yeah I am...

                             You: yh, wanna meet at the party??

Taka: Sure, I'll see you there!

Fuck, I'm nervous.. -

I guess I'll head out early.

The dorm is already flooded with people, some from my class, some not. Loud music plays from each corner of but is muffled from the chatter of everyone.

"Yo! Mondo took you long enough!" Leon says from across the room.

There's no sign of Taka

"Yeah whatever.., have you seen Taka around?" I say, looking around.

"Oh, yeah loverboy's over there." He says, pointing to Taka, who's standing awkwardly amongst a crowd.

You can tell he's never been to a party before..

"Hey, Taka!"

"Mondo!"

".. Wanna walk around the schoolgrounds for a while?.. It's too crowded here.."

"Sure!"

We leave Leon's dorm, still being able to hear the muffled music from the halls.

We walk outside for a while as I think things through.

God, how do I tell him, it'll just ruin the friendship..

He's to special to me to lose..

Fuck, its now or never Mondo!

I stop where I'm going and turn to face Taka.

"Taka.. I.." I mutter.

Why can't I just say it..?

"Hm..? What is It Mondo..?" Taka says, looking at me, curiosity in his eyes.

"Fuck.. I.."-

Spit it out already!!

"I LOVE YOU TAKA, OKAY..?!" I shout.

"Mondo..-"

"Shit, Taka.. I'm sorry...-"

"Don't apologise because I-I love you too!"  He says, tears almost welling in his eyes.

"Wait... You do..?!" I say.

Before I could breathe another word, he pulls me in for a kiss.

holy shit.. Is this happening ?!

It lasted for a minute or so until he pulled away..

"I-I'm so sorry, I got so carried away.. I-" 

"No need to apologise, babe."

"Can we go back to my dorm..? I don't really want to go back to the party.."

"'Course, Taka."
