°Kiyotaka Ishimaru°I wake up next to Mondo..
Oh, yeah.. I remember..
He confessed to me..
I couldn't be happier!
I decide to get up, after all, today I have to leave for summer break.
I hope Mondo still contacts me..
Around 15 minutes later, I check if I need anything else.
Hmm.. What have I got already..
Books..
Clothes..
Phone..
Toothbrush..My thinking was interrupted by the sound of mondo waking up.
He let's out a deep yawn before wrapping his arms around me.
"Good morning Mondo!"
"Mornin' Taka.. I better go pack, so I'll be back later, 'Kay?"
"Okay!"
I sit down on my bed.
Do I have to go..?
All of a sudden, I hear my phone buzz in my jacket pocket.
I wonder who it is..
NEW MESSAGE: FATHER
Ah! Must be about summer break!
Father: Hello, Kiyotaka. I need to cancel your stay for summer break as I have an important case at work, maybe next year?
I felt my heart sink in disappointment as I read the message.
I haven't seen him all year!
Just as I get back up to pack, I hear Mondo come back into my room.
"Hey, Taka! You done packing..?" He says, sitting next to me on my bed.
"I can't go this year.. My father has an important case at his job." I say, playing with the sleeve of my sweater.
"You're not staying here alone on my watch, babe, why don't ya come with me..?"
"A-Are you sure..?"
"Of course, Taka! I'm sure Daiya won't mind!"
I finish packing my bags and we make our way over to the apartment.
Mondo opens the door, his older brother, Daiya sitting on the couch watching TV.
We head to his room, which is surprisingly cleaner than his dorm room.
We both flop down next to eachother on Mondo's bed, letting out a tired sigh.
"Welcome home, Taka." Mondo says as he pulls me closer to him.
I smile, and before I know it I've fallen asleep.
