PRINCE AND THE COMMONER

It was dawn, everyone in the castle of Aezogalla was asleep except for one person, Zachary. He took out his green cloak and wore it. He opened the window, carefully stepped out of the castle, and closed the door again. Zach ran to the suburbs, a run-down area filled with thieves and pranksters. There stood Jack, Zach's long-time boyfriend. Zach took off his hood, revealing his messed up hair, tanned skin, and rosy cheeks. 

Jack took a white rose and said "To my boyfriend, I may be a commoner, but I still love you, no matter our social statuses," He handed the rose to Zach as soon as Zach touched the rose, the rose turns into a lavender color.

"Lavender," Zach echoed "That means," "Enchantment, and love at first sight, Just like how we met," Jack crooned. In the fantasy world, Each color of the flower meant meaning to the pair. Lavender represents Enchantment and Love at first sight. 

Jack took a step in front of Zach and the two began to kiss passionately in the dawn of the morning. What they don't know is that a servant of Zach was spying on the pair. When Jack held Zach's hand and went away. The servant grabbed Zach's other hand and tugging him. 

"You are going to harm Prince Zachary," She articulated, her voice demanding, and strong. She was soft-spoken but strong when someone is provoked. "What did I do?" asked Jack to the maid. Not long after, Jack was arrested by the Aezogalla castle guards while Zach watched in horror. 

"Zachary!" a voice yelled behind. Zach turned around and saw his father, the ruler of Aezogalla, and his mother. "Car, now!" King Josh commanded his son. Zach nodded and began to walk to the car and sat in the backseat, holding back his tears and looking at the window to see Jack was apprehended by guards and was locked in a van.

The ride was silent, every time Zach would glance at the rearview mirror, he could see his father's furious eyes, In Aezogalla, It is a big no-no to marry a commoner especially an heir to the throne. Since Zach broke that rule, he has to make a decision. 

The three went to the palace court and the king and queen sat down to the throne. "Release Avery," the soldiers marched in and in the middle was Jack, handcuffed, looking at the king with remorse as if he committed a crime. "Zachary Dean Herron," Josh started "How many rules did you break?" Zach looked down and answered "2," The king asked, "And what are those?" Zach took a deep breath and countered "No sneaking out at the dawn of day and falling in love with a commoner," 

"Exactly Zachary, you broke those rules, and what, you accepted a rose for a commoner!" Zach had enough and cried out "Maybe if you pay attention to your son's happiness, this would have happened," Zach continued "I love Jack, even if our statuses are different, I loved every bit of him," Josh exhaled and demurred "Zachary Herron, you have two choices. That being, Force to break up with Jack and Marry the future king or Mecan, Jonah. or Jack will be beheaded," Josh paused which added the suspense "Pick Zachary," 

Zach looked at his father, and he went to Jack and held his face, kissed him on the cheek. "I'm breaking up with you," Zach cried. "No," Jack denied "No!" Zach said "I'm sorry, there must be another choice," Zach expressed craving for Jack's freedom. Jack was on his knees, pleading with the king. 

"There is no other choice," Myta declared "You are engaged to Jonah,"
