*knock knock*

Jonah groaned in response. He heard the door knocked, this time louder. Jonah stood up and opened the door, revealing Daniel his loyal servant. "A healthy good morning, Prince Jonah," he bowed down before Jonah. "You know," Jonah stated "You could just call me Jonah," Daniel nodded and addressed "King Timothy is waiting for you for the royal breakfast, he has an announcement to make," This was strange to Jonah, his father never had a family announcement, he only has family announcements usually on public but not private. 

Jonah was lost in thought when Daniel snapped his fingers. "Are you coming, Prince Jonah?" Jonah nodded and got dressed. Daniel tripped on his master's stepsister's foot. "oopsie, my fault," Carmin apologized sarcastically. Carmin alongside Alia her maid went to the dining hall. 

At the dining haul. 

As expected, Jonah sat next to his younger sister Svea on the right and his mother on the left. In front of him were his stepsister Carmin and his stepmom aka the mistress of king Timothy, Joannah. As breakfast was served, the king stood up and announced. "As I began aging, the kingdom of Mecan will have a new ruler who is the heir of the throne," 

"Who is it, father?" Carmin asked with glee on her face. Jonah saw this, for he knows that Carmin wishes to become the queen of Mecan, she will stop at nothing to get in her way. Tim looked at both his stepdaughter and his son with a smile on his face.

Timothy wanted to give the throne to Zebulon his oldest son, but he abnegated. For he wanted to marry a commoner which is fine in the Mecan area. Soon to Esther but she abnegated and decided to work as a huntress of the area. 

He took a deep breath and said "My son Jonah should be the next king of Mecan," Svea and Carrie both clapped and cheered for Jonah. "Son," Time called "you are having an arranged marriage," "To whom, father?" Jonah asked "I made a deal with the king of Aezogalla, you are going to be married to Prince Zachary," 

Jonah spat out his coffee which he spat at his stepmom. Carmin was heartbroken, Joannah looked at her with disgust, and whipped her head away. Carmin wanted to become queen, she wanted this position to happen. She stood up and ordered "Alia, let's go," She walked away, ignoring her stepfather's calls. Carmina and Alia went to her room and Carmin sat down and cried. 

Carmin cried with her heart's content when she stopped crying. She looked at Alia and asked, "When is the wedding?" "Around next week, Princess Carmin," Alia affirmed. Carmin grinned and replied "Good, Cause I got a plan,"
