AN IT GIRL is meant to be someone everyone wanted to be. A girl with a welcoming aura that made people feel safe, a good girl with charming looks and a big heart. Victoria Buckingham fit right under that title, well at least on the outside.

Everyone around in the upper east fell in the belief of Victoria being the ideal girl, yet it couldn't be further from the truth. She is only nice because she has to be, her image was crafted into perfection and all with a faultless smile on her face that fooled the whole upper east.

"And that is why I, Victoria Buckingham, think our school should donate to special education charities." A forced smile on her face as she speaks, yet it was enough to bring everyone in the room to applaud, people loved her after all.

Ezekiel Kingsley, sitting in the crowd held back an eye roll as he heard the applause around him. He wondered how everyone sitting in this room could actually be fooled by Victoria and her pretty lies. A liar, that was all she was to Ezekiel.

"Your sister is a fraud," commented Ezekiel casually, his voice emotionless. Truthfully the blonde could care less about the facade of Victoria, but what bothered him was how everyone fell for it. Idiots were something that Ezekiel did not tolerate, but it seemed as if everyone sitting here in the audience was one.

Vincent Buckingham from next to him nods. "I know," he replied calmly as he watched his sister walk off the stage. The two boys sat in silence after that as no other words needed to be said.

Their dominance was intimidating yet their looks were captivating. From a distance, people admired these two boys as they were both ethereal with alluring looks that you would see straight out of a fashion magazine. They were like a rose with thorns; so beautiful, yet so painful to touch. It wasn't a surprise that the duo were close, but their friendship was merely a business deal. A friendship out of respect and trust towards one another, nothing more, nothing less.

Together they were feared, admired, and worshipped by the upper east. You might love them, you might hate them, but just remember they would never even spare a glance your way.

On the other side of the room, Isabella Chandler greeted Victoria with a sickly sweet fake smile. The beautiful light skinned girl walked towards the brunette with elegance, capturing the attention of many around her.

She forced out a squeal as she brought Victoria into a hug. "Oh you did so great!" she lies, her voice raising a few pitches for extra effect, only letting her eye roll show when Victoria couldn't see her face. Truthfully Isabella couldn't give a shit about Victoria's speech, but she felt like it was mandatory as Victoria's "best friend" to offer some support.

Victoria broke the hug after a few seconds as she sent her best friend a small genuine smile. "Thank you Belle.'' Her voice is smooth as she shows real gratitude towards the girl. Pretending to be nice towards others was exhausting, but with Isabella she didn't have to pretend. The Buckingham daughter valued Isabella as a friend, but if only she knew it was one sided.
