Reunited

Time skip

The next day we all piled in the car and started the long drive to Florida from being in California. As soon as we got to the apartment we started unpacking everything and I got prepared to start a new school the next day.
Jan- you'll be fine sweetie
L- how can you be so sure
Jan- I just know
L- ookkk
I went to school and it was just like I expected I was awkward and people stared a lot since I'm the new kid and a few girls talked to me here and there but I didn't exactly make any friends and it just made me miss cole even more cause I know that me and him would be laughing and playing soccer at recess and being sneaky in class talking without getting caught and now here I am sitting alone at recess and having no fun in class at all. Hopefully the days get easier the longer I'm here cause otherwise I have no clue how I'm going to make it here. Over time it did get easier and I did make quite a few friends and I'm now loving it here and I just graduated from middle school and I do mean I just did it like we're now out having lunch afterwards to celebrate.
Jan- so honey I have some news for you
L- good or bad
Tim- it should be good but not entirely sure
L- ok then what is it then
Jan- were moving back to California
L- are you kidding me
Tim- aren't you happy you can go back and see all you're old friends including cole
L- well yeah but this is home now I have a life here now
Jan- I'm sorry sweetie
L- it's fine I dealt with it before so I guess I'll deal with it again
I finished lunch trying my best to be happy but I couldn't cause now I got to say goodbye to friends again and I have to be the new kid again cause I doubt many people remember me from that long ago. Hopefully cole will be happy to see me at least cause I know he hasn't forgotten me thanks to the fact that we send letters every now and then and our parents still talk all the time.
