Reunited

Dinner

School came to an end and I was hoping to hangout with Cole like old times but he had plans with his girlfriend so I just headed home.
Jan- hey sweetie how was school
L- it was alright
Jan- did you see cole
L- yeah I did and I guess momma pendery didn't tell him we moved back
Jan- yeah she mentioned she wanted to keep it a surprise for him and let him figure it out on his own at school but if not it would be revealed to him tonight cause we're going out to dinner with all of them to catch up
L- cool
Jan- did you make any other friends at least
L- yeah I did which is how I saw cole in the first place cause I met this girl who happens to be the girlfriend of one of his best friends
Jan- small world
L- right but I'm going to go nap since I have no homework
Jan- haha ok
I went up to my room and napped then woke up and showered and changed to go to dinner. I wore a navy blue dress and black heels and then did my hair and makeup and soon enough we were at the restaurant giving hugs to everyone and as I stepped back from hugging coles sister Kylie I noticed cole was staring at me kind of biting his lip as well so I walked over to him as everyone got lost in conversation while waiting for the table to be ready.
L- you ok there cole
C- yeah of course
L- then why are you staring so much
C- cause you're beautiful
L- well thank you
C- you're welcome
I blushed and so did he and we looked beyond awkward but what can we do cause we haven't seen each other in years so back then we weren't exactly saying people are attractive at the time and such so it's weird for him to be saying it to me. We went and all sat down and his parents caught up with me as my parents caught up with him and it was weird to hear him go on and on about his girlfriend but hopefully I'll get used to it soon as well as meet her.
