"Zara! The boys and I will be going to a party. Please come."
"Goodmorning, Zayn."
"Will you come?"
"Uh.. sure?"
"Yay. Okay. I'll pick you up at 5. See ya! Love ya."
"Love you. Bye." I hung up.
It's ten o'clock in the morning, I got up from my bed and went to the bathroom to wash my face. I wiped it dry with my light blue towel and tied my hair in a messy bun. I went downstairs. Mom and Dad are at work, and Katherine may be at her best friend's house, which is just beside ours.
I went to the kitchen and cooked myself some pancakes. Maybe I'll just have a late lunch outside.
Minutes later, I put the plate of pancakes on the table. I got a glass and filled it with water. When I returned to the table, I saw Katherine by the door.
"Goodmorning. Were you at Amber's house, earlier?" I greeted.
"Yup. Goodmorning." She smiled. I watched her as she took a fork, plate, and maple syrup. She sat beside me and took two pancakes.
"You should've cooked yourself." I smiled.
"Nah.. Too lazy." I watched her again as she put some syrup on her pancakes. "Want some?". I shook my head and ate my pancakes. I liked it better with no syrup.
"Hey sis." I said.
"Hmm?"
"I'll be going with the boys later. Zayn invited me to a party."
"Okay. Can Amber stay here while you're gone?"
"Yeah. Sure."
"Will Zayn pick you up? What time?"
"He said he'll pick me up at 5." I smiled.
Kath nodded. "What will you wear? Is it a formal party?"
"Oh. I forgot to ask him." I put my fork down and got my phone.

While waiting for Zayn's reply, I finished eating my pancakes and put my plate on the sink. "Hey Kath!"
"Yeah?!" She shouted back.
"I cooked the food, You wash the dishes!" Katherine whined and I laughed. I went to the living room and sat on the couch. My phone vibrated and it was a text from Zayn.

A simple dress will do. And I'm in the mood for shopping. I just hope it's not a costume party or something.
I went up to my room. I opened my wardrobe and got my white pants. I got my orange top with some sequins on it, and black sandals with a cute bow in front.
I went downstairs and saw Katherine watching a TV show. "Hey Kath, I'll go shopping. Wanna come?"
"Sure!" Kath got the remote and shut the TV off. "Give me a few minutes." and She rushed to her bedroom upstairs. As she finished, we rode a taxi and a few minutes later, we arrived at the mall. Katherine dragged me to a store I didn't even get the chance to see the name.
"So.. Watcha gonna buy?" She asked as she looked at the hanged clothes.
"Simple dress."
"Simple dress? You have many on your wardrobe."
"Just go with the flow." I laughed.
"Check my flow." Katherine said while doing some sort of hand movement.
"What?" I said, confused.
"I said 'Check my flow.' "
"Yeah, I heard that. But why should I check your flow? And what's with that hand movement?"
Katherine stared at me for a while and suddenly burst into laughter.
"It's a directioner thing. Louis said it in one of the video diaries. I miss those times." she sighed. "Oh. Your lovey dovey boyfie made cool rhymes on that video diary. He said 'The next question is from Chloe, and then Louis butts in.. 'Check my flow'. Then Zayn continued 'Chloe check my flow. And she wants to know, which rhymes also.' And then the boys said 'OOOOHHH' and --.
I chuckled. "Ok, Kath. Stop your fangirl moment and let's find a dress."

"Zar, this dress is nice."
"Nah." I shook my head.
"This?"
"I'm too conservative for that. "
"How about this?"
"Uh. No. Can we go home? I prefer my dress back there."
Kath huffed and returned the dresses back. "So we went here for nothing?"
"Thank for your effort." I laughed.
"Can we at least eat?"
I looked at my watch and it's 1:30 pm. "Yup. Late lunch. Where do you wanna eat, Katherine Marie?"
Kath smirked, "Don't call me that, Nicola Roberts."
"Nicola Roberts? I guess you don't know my name. I'm Zara Ainsworth."
"Zara Ainsworth-Malik."
"And you're jealous 'cause I'm dating someone from One Direction."
"I admit I am. But I'm not giving up. Ok, can we now eat?"

"I think I'll just wear this."
"Hmm.. Don't wear the blazer."
I nodded and went in the bathroom to change. My long brown hair is curled, and I put only a little amount of make-up. I went out and Katherine handed me my black shoes.
"You look great." She smiled.
"Thanks." I smiled back. "It's almost 5. Let's just wait for Zayn at the living room. We went downstairs and sat on the couch. There was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it." Katherine stood up and opened the door. A little later I heard it close and two girls were walking towards the couch.
"Hey there, Amber!" I smiled.
"Hi Zara." She smiled back.
"We'll be in my room. Be safe. Have fun at the party!" Kath said while the two of them went upstairs.
There was another knock on the door. I opened it and revealed Zayn.
"Hey there." I greeted.
"Hey there, beautiful." He winked. "Let's go?"
I nodded and kissed Zayn's cheeks. I intertwined my hand with his and we went to his car. I sat next to the driver's seat.
"Whose party are we going to?"
"A friend of ours." Zayn smiled.
