Tranquility

"thank you for helping ms. Ahn you may go now " her professor thanked her , she's finishing her remaining semester before getting ready for bar exams and her graduation .

She's a runner for a high ranking award making her one of the most excellent student in her batch . The fact that she is nominated for that award on her graduation is already saying something.

It's been a long day for her because besides from studying she's also one of the board directors of their company . She also attended a trial earlier that is held by two of her law professor .

She didn't have to but she want to help their family .that's why she said yes to that position since she entered the law school .

She's now hurrying because she's gonna be late for her meeting .

She quickly fixed her long hair that is in a low ponytail while some of the short hairs cascade down her face

While she's on stop because of the traffic lights she quickly applied a bright red lipstick to give color to her face and also to match her red suit and pants partnered with a white tube top .

Because of her hectic schedule she can't even fix her self properly, she usually wear a minimum amount of makeup but today she can barely have time to even use cream on her face .

She almost threw off the keys to the guards before she ran off to the elevator with her bag and laptop on her hands .

She's already ten minutes late to her meeting and it's one of the most important one in every month where they'll present every sales to the boards , investors and business partners.

When she's near the conference room she saw her secretary anxiously waiting for her by the door

"Oh my gosh ms. Hyejin ! You're so late ! Mr. Ahn already told everyone that you'll be the one presenting today because he's not around !" Her secretary JooE gave her a folder and a usb .

"I've already finished setting up your powerpoint but just incase you want to study it while waiting  . You're gonna be presenting last, I'll ask them if you can enter now . Fix your self first ms. Hyejin " JooE knocked on the door and briefly go inside while she fix her clothes and tried to compose her self .

JooE signed her to come in and she walked in elegantly . All of them are standing and waiting for her , even if she's embarrassed she hid it and composed her self . She walked to the empty seat near the and and didn't look around , before she sit she gestured that all of them can sit now . "I'm sorry for being late everyone , I need to attend a trial earlier and I didn't expect that it's that long so I apologize for my incompetence" she bowed and all of them bowed back accepting her apology

The current presenter continued and she quietly opened her laptop and opened the file JooE gave her she studied it so she knows how to present it later .

Few seats across her namjoon studied how she moves , he's dissatisfied for her absence earlier because it was already starting yet the main presenter is still not there . His disappointment grew more when he learned that it's hyejin that's gonna present them the things that needs to be presented .

But after hearing her reason he kinda understand and lower down his anger and decided to give her a chance if she'll do good in this .

He never encountered hyejin in the meeting because it'll always be her dad that'll present and elaborate , or it'll be his dad who'll attend the meeting sometimes or it's his brother Seokjin that'll attend the meeting .

He heard that hyejin is strict and scary when it comes to work but he still can't see it , well it's only starting and the meeting will continue for hours so he have hours to observe .
