Age: 18 - Hermione & Draco.

Hermione Granger POV

Walking down the corridor shouldn't be hazardous, but it is. Especially when you have a migraine, everything starts becoming louder then it should be, the shrieks and squeals of kids wondering around and making their way to class, the screeching of nails running along the old walls. Personally the last one makes me cringe more than the others.

I duck my head down wanting to get past. I start feeling weightless all of a sudden, I realise i'm falling backwards, pushed by an unknown force. I try to reach for something, anything but there is very little you can do when you're literally falling, to the floor nevertheless.

Draco's robe was the last thing I'd expect to catch onto but it is.

"What do you want now Malfoy." I said in boredom, seriously this thing was getting old. Every time something happens I end up in his arms.

"Nothing, from you Granger," He snarls back, rolling his greyish-blue eyes.

"Then why did you push into me, huh!" I bite back angrily brushing his hands off as I stabilise myself.

"Uh, because professor Snape asked you for um assistance or something after potions class today." He spoke unsure.

"Okay," I say slowly backing away from him, "well, I shall get going now, see you never Malfoy." Draco mumbles something that I can't quite hear properly.

"Sorry, what?" I squint my eyes trying to lip read, sadly failing.

"I said, whatever Granger." He says while rolling his eyes, throwing his gown back like Professor Snape turning around the corner.

"Idiot, absolute idiot." I grumble walking towards the library.

I arrive at the library, slowly taking in the nice scent of books and candles. I exhale slowly looking around to met silverfish grey eyes once more gazing upon me. I blink, but it's gone. I cough slightly as I inhaled my saliva.

Shaking my head I walk to the far end on the library, where most people don't know of since they hardly visit it as often as I do. I wave my wand around the candle, a fire started, turning red, to green. Odd. I didn't even have a spell in mind for that to happen. This isn't right. Shrugging my shoulders I go to look for one of the books I had planned to read this week.

"God where is it?" I speak to no one particular.

"Granger need a hand there?" I turn my head finding Theodore Nott staring up at the very book I was looking for.

"Actually yes." I begin turning on the ladder awkwardly, "unless you're finished with that book I believe you are of no use to me."

"Damn harsh ain't it." He scoffs, shaking his head.

"Yeah I realised too afterwards." I grimace staring at my academic rival in defence against the arts. Theodore Nott and I have been on the top 3 among Draco Malfoy, it's been a race to see who ends up with more E scores. Stupid, sure however that isn't my main concern as of this moment. "So you done or?" I trail off.

"Yeah well I just picked it a few minutes ago, I can hand it over in..." he trails off in thought, waving his hand in motion. "Let's say 1 week 2 days according to my timetable."

"What if I have it now and hand it to you by tomorrow, I am a faster reader than you and well can finish it off quicker too." I brag unintentionally.

"Yeah nah I'm good. I need this to beat you for the next exam." He winks going to walk away but pauses.
