"That was actually sweet Malfoy"

"Don't ever put sweet and Malfoy in the same sentence, it makes me feel weird"

"Whatever, anyway what are you doing here?" I asked, changing the topic.

"Oh, um, well i-I was looking for a costume." He said nervously.

"Really, what for."

"Um well I am going to a party, and thought might as well go get get some you know clothes and stuff."

"Really, I am to. What party are you going to?" I said interested in what he had to say.

"Um Harry invited me to the Halloween party they are having this year." He said awkwardly.

"Really, I thought you guys don't like each other or something."

"Me and Harry made truce, because this drama was getting old and we had to grow up you know. And so yeah"

"R u sure it isn't just you." I said glaring at him.

"Well, I know I may not be your ideal person right now but like can't you just forgive me, please Hermione"

"It is hard to forgive you after you left me heartbroken you know. You never once stood up for me. I can't believe I love you." I said tears threatening to fall out of my eyes.

"Do you still love me?" He asked surprised.

"I-I don't know." I said truthfully. "I've had a lot going on these couple months I just i don't know Malfoy."

"Understandable, I just im sorry Hermione I truly am I never stopped thinking about you since that day. I was wrong to let my parents control my life like that. It is so much better now that they are in Azkaban. I can finally do what I want without them breathing down my back." He says with vulnerability in his bright grey eyes.

"Please forgive me Hermione," He pleads.

"Yes Draco, I forgive you." I say stepping towards him.

"Now, how about we go get our clothes and then get some coffee."

"What's coffee?" He asked, genuinely confused.

"You have got to me joking." I said seriously, mouth agape.

He laughed "I was just joking Hermione. I mean what do you take me for,"

And that ladies and gentleman is how his ego came back to him.

I scoff, "Come on you big baby, lets go get you some clothes."

"That's not the only thing that's big" He smirked.

I looked at him, with the what the fuck look.

"Don't look at me like that I was just saying that the shop is pretty big."

"Shore, sure. That was totally what you meant."

"What, did you think it meant, Hermione. You know I think you have a dirty mind that needs deep cleansing. Doncha think?"

"No." I snapped and made my way to the gorgeous dark green and black dress.

"Hey, wait up. Oh that's a nice dress but are you sure you gonna be able to wear it to their party, considering they have a costume party." He said looking at the dress

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yeah, that's what Harry told me."

"Wait one sec, let me quickly check with Ginny." I say, pulling out my phone.

"What's that?" He questioned.

"Draco I know you are not as dumb as you are acting right now,"

"Oh and how do you know."

"Because I was the once you taught you how to use a phone when we started dating,"

"So you do remember." He smiled.

"Ofcource I did, why wouldn't I" I mumbled and turned around so he couldn't see my eyes.

I turn on my phone and put the password in, I go to contacts and click on Ginny's profile and start texting her.

Hey Ginny, quick question

                                                                                  Yeah what is it??

For the Halloween party is it a costume party or like you can wear anything.

What kind tho?

                                                                             What do u think granger? Obviously Halloween 👁️👄👁️

"I guess you were right." I say turning around to see Draco already staring at me.

"Um, Draco you good." I say waving a hand in front of him to snap him out of whatever dream land he was it.

"Huh, oh hey Hermione, what did you say?" He said.

"I said you were right. We are having a costume party."

"Told you." He smirked.

"Ok, ok sorry,"

Few moments later we had gotten my costume, it was a angel costume.

And Draco decided to wear this with a demon head band:

"How about we make a quick stop to my house so we can go to the coffee place you were talking about" He said

"Sure"
