After about a week Toji found his own place. We didn't exchange much words that day he settled in nor the day he told me he found a small apartment across from the spare house I had.

"Megumi did you know your father's in town?" He looked down at his brown almost black shoes. Many thoughts going through his head like how hard it must've been for a man to hand make shoes like his. Or a tactics he might use to one up Yuji, maybe even Misa.. but none of them were about his father. He knew the affect his father had on Misaki, much less him. Megumi couldn't care less so when a random man showed up in the middle of his solo mission He was shocked and confused. He barely knew what the man looked like, but something about the mystery mans demeanor gave Megumi the chills.
3rd POV
"No" he lied. He lied for her sake, he didn't want the hurt her, as much as he hated lying and he knew she did too. He knew the way she would scold him every time she got a call from his school saying he beat up more kids, he knew the way her voice was go soft after being too stern with him. He knew that later she would beat herself up for allowing Megumi to grow up without a father.. the resentment for his father ... oh he knew.

"Ahh" was all she said. As they were both now walking from Megumi's dorm to her car to take care of a Mission they were assigned with.

Megumi broke the silence, opening his mouth to speak, "Heard he's coming back to be a Sorcerer.."

All to be heard from the dark haired women sitting beside him was a small dry chuckle. Her voice was raspy, her eyes were baggy the color in them screamed exhaustion. Her once soft hands were now clammy and uneasy. Yet she remained with a soft reassuring face for his sake. She didn't want to scare him or make him feel worried in any type of way. Overtime as she observed the young boy she learned how protective he was towards Misaki. Like she was his real mother , like she was the last living person he loves and would do anything to protect her. She was worried for Toji's sake... who knew what Megumi was capable of.

Megumi was aware of her change in posture, the way she has carried herself lately wasn't like her. The boss lady was no longer painted on her face.

Rather she was stripped to the bone, exhaustion and desperation for any type of relief oozed from her. Her hatred for this jujutsu world she lived in was enough to make her go crazy in the head. She would do anything to rid the world of the very same thing that haunts her day in and day out, like a dark cloud over her head constantly.

But she was drained.. oh so mentally tired of the world. The days she woke up feeling numb to her pain and obvious to her demeanor and the way she carried herself so she wouldn't let her fake front slip in front of others. These past days were the days she grew tired of carrying feelings around unexplained.

Her mind scrambled up like a baby's drawing on a wall.

Once they arrived at there destination a relief both taken off their chest from having to talk about what Misaki dreadfully didn't want to talk about.

Time skip

"It's been a while since we both went out, come on what do you say?" The blue eyed man said pleading Misaki over the phone. Truth be told Megumi was worried for Misaki deeply but he wasn't exactly the talking cheering up type. Of course he called in a favor to his sensei , yeah Satouru was annoying but he cared for Misaki just as much. He intended to everything he can to make sure she was ok.

"No" she was putting away the last box of stuff she had moved from her other house to her new one. She was planning on selling the old house, she needed something new she needed a do over. She hadn't told anyone she was moving yet , it was a big step for her. Something she needed to do alone.

"That's it Misaki I'm not doing this with you again. I have your location im picking you up at 8 whether you like it or not" His voice held power in it. Misaki tried to protest but was cut off by the call going dead.
