"Thought it was that easy, did you, Celestia? Telling a lost boy not to tell me you've ripped his heart from his chest won't stop me from finding out," Pan chided.

"I did no such thing!" Celestia countered.

"So be it. Live with the guilt. It gets easier." He answered slyly.

"Come on boys!" Pan yelled, signaling a large group of teenage boys to come forth from the surrounding jungle.

"Let's play," Those words sent shivers down my spine.

Peter Pan vanished into thin air, letting his group of boys start the battle.

"Aurora! Violette! Get behind me!" Some guy quickly commanded. How did he know my name? I cowered in fear as the boys advanced quickly, each knowing dangerous yet skillful tactics.

Most everyone charged towards the boys, ready to fight, while I stood behind some girl named "Aurora".

These boys were ruthless, some younger than me. I clenched my fists tightly, watching each battle play out.

Will and Alexander, I think those are their names, took on three boys from Peter Pan's clan. Will used quick swordplay until Alex took out the boy's leg and then knocked him out with a blow to the head.

Piper was amazing and honorable. She took out at least seven with just a sword. She was so graceful and deadly at the same time.

Celestia and two other people on our side used magic to knock out the teenage boys.

We won the small battle, making sure each boy was knocked out, not dead.

"We're fighters, not murderers." Some man told me.

I didn't even know why we were fighting. A battle, I thought to myself, insignificant to the war. The war that nobody wanted.

"Did you take one of the boys hearts?" I asked Celestia. She looked me in the eye and replied sincerely.

"Of course not."

I nodded and believed her, but when I touched her shoulder, things felt wrong. I trust her, but I didn't know if she was lying or not. Unfortunately, I didn't notice my necklace illuminate ever so slightly when I touched her.

We were trudging along, hoping to miraculously find Pan. I secretly hoped we wouldn't, for I thought his love for Mirabella was beautiful.

Love in general was a beautiful thing. I see it in Piper's eyes when she laughs at William, in Celestia's eyes when she smiles at Alexander. I see it in Roland's eyes as he comforts me when I feel alone.

"Can you ask a bird or something where Pan is? It might help!" Piper suddenly had an idea. I shrugged and held out a finger. A small brown bird perched upon my hand and sang a lovely song.

"Hello there! Do you know where Peter Pan might be?" I interrogated the creature.

In a grotto by the cliff on the north western part of the island. It chirped in reply.

"Thank you!" I said, pleased. It fluttered off and I told everyone of the location.

~~~~~~~
Searching, searching. How hard can it be to find one person? Neverland isn't that big an island. The trees seemed to get thicker and the path narrower as we looked for the grotto that was our key and ticket home.
"Are you tired, Vi?" Roland pondered, trying to make conversation.
"Very." I answered lazily. He picked me up bridal style and carried me like that, causing everyone to laugh. "You're a life saver, Roland. If I knew I was going to scour Neverland, I would've worn more comfortable shoes." I joked.
There it was again. The love in his eyes. I put my arms around his neck and decided that Peter Pan and Mirabella should be together, and I gave them my prayers. Love should be accepted, not refused. If only everyone could see my perspective, someone who isn't biased by knowing Pan or Mira previously, I see lust and love, not cons or scams.
Why else would Peter go this far for a girl he just met?
