Annabelle's POV

I was sitting in the back of a sleek black limo that was being driven by a man in an all black suit. It was quite extraordinary honestly. The interior was a dark drown wood with leather black seats and gold plating. The window in between the front and back seats was shut from the young mans request. We were silent on our way to his hotel, the only sound being the roar of the engine as we drove.

Harry would scroll through his phone while I sat and stared at him with an observing gaze. He confused the hell out of me. One minute he was furious with me on false accusations, the next he was my knight in shining armour. I couldn't quite decipher him, he was a mystery to me. The Harry that rode with me now wasn't the Harry who sat with me for hours, just talking and laughing. Enjoying each other's company. This Harry was conservative and closed off. He hadn't spoken a word to me since we left the club and I hated how he wasn't being his charming, delightful self.

After what seemed like a 20 minute ride the car came to a stop and a tiny slit in the black glass opened.

"We've arrived to the hotel sir."

Harry swiftly exited the door of the limo and held it open for me to step out. He placed his hand out for me to grab and I politely accepted.

At least he was still being a gentleman.

Looking around I confirmed that we were in downtown New York. The bright lights and busy streets being one give away, many people were still walking about even this late at night.

I would come downtown for my shopping but never for much more than that. The busy city wasn't exactly my cup of tea.

We walked towards grand hotel doors. The door had a gold trim around it with designs and carvings. A man in a red suit quickly opened the massive doors for us and greeted us with a good morning due to the early time.

I felt my bottom lip drop open when I came into view with the interior of the hotel. The high ceilings and chandelier that hung in the centre had me in awe. It was decorated in white and gold and a silver accent here and there. It was absolutely breathtaking.

Harry led us to a large counter were a woman instantly greeted him with a polite smile. Her eyes drifted to me and I noticed their glance towards my probably bleeding cut above my eyebrow. I could tell she was silently judging me from the way her posture seemed to straighten up, almost as if she was showing how much better she was. I ignored her silent message seeing as I was used to the judgemental stares by now and didn't care about someone else's opinion.

"Send fresh towels and any flyers for food places that are open at this hour to my penthouse please."

"Sure thing Mr. Styles. I'll put a rush on it as well."

"Preferably Chinese if you don't mind darling." I asked in a sickeningly sweet voice.

She glared.

Harry coughed back a laugh.

"What the lady said" Harry said, his voice full of amusement.

Finally the Harry I had seen before was emerging from the cracks.

Harry gave a quick thanks before leading us to the elevator doors. We waited a brief moment before the doors slid open allowing us inside. Harry quickly pressed EP (executive penthouse) as the doors glided shut.

"This is a very fancy hotel." I spoke looking at the embezzled buttons. They were a bit over the top for elevator buttons if you asked me.

"I don't really pay attention to that. I just like their penthouse suit. It's comforting."
