When Kim Taehyung, the class president asks out the school nerd, Rosé, for the valentines day prom.

Rosé's POV:
I was walking in the school corridor during the lunch break, trying to find my only friend in school, Jennie, Jennie Kim. Ofcourse who else would be friends with me. Everyone thought I was a nerd ! All students except Jennie believed that I wasn't as "cool" as them and a total jerk. Anyways, I was never going to talk to any of those when I had Jennie by my side.

After searching a lot, I found Jennie talking with a boy whom I couldn't recognize properly.

After a few seconds, she bid goodbye to that boy and started to look for me I guess. And there, she found me and waved me a 'hi'. I waved her back and signalled her to come sit with me on the table.

We both took our seats on the table in the food court and started talking...

Jennie: Rosie, do you remember that tomorrow is Valentine's day prom in the school..?

Rosé: yeah, I do remember...

I frowned

Jennie: So did someone ask you out for the prom....?

Rosé: Ofcourse not, which boy in the world would ever ask a jerk for a prom!?

Jennie sighed and made a sad expression...

Jennie: But why don't you ask anyone?

Rosé: Do you think anyone would accept my proposal?

Jennie: I understand but what's the harm in trying? I'm sure there must be atleast one boy you like...?

I flinched and a light red blush appeared on my face.

Ofcourse I liked a boy. It was none other than the class president and also my childhood friend Kim Taehyung. I always had deep feelings for him since our childhood and over time, I had totally fell for him. He was and is always nice to me but I was sure of the fact that he would never like me back. I mean he's so handsome and even the class president ! Besides, there are many girls who go drooling over him, why would he ever like me?

Rosé: umm yes, there is..

Jennie jumped out of excitement and asked me who the boy was?

Rosé: Kim Taehyung

Jennie: Kim Taehyung? The class president and your childhood friend too right?

I nodded nervously

Jennie: Go for it girl! Atleast try!

Rosé: No Jennie, I know that he would never like me back even though he's nice to me. I don't wanna hurt him and myself too..

Jennie became sad and made an expression showing disappointment.

Jennie: Okay if that's what you want..

Rosé: Okay now don't be said Nini and tell me fast whom are you going to the prom with....?
I asked her excitedly

Jennie: Did you see the boy I was talking with?

Rosé: Oh yeah, is he the one? Who is he? I couldn't recognize him

Jennie: Umm, he was......
