1#. So, I have run into a reddit comment that says that Alpha's semblance isn't technically a semblance. Of course, since this is a fanfic, it can go ways, but I still think the Overdrive semblance is possible.
Firstly, while Huntsmen can enhance themselves and their weapons, it's merely a fraction, unless if it has to do with their semblance. Alpha's case is more or less the extreme version. If I would give an example: Ruby's Rose can give her incredible speed, but not much else to her weapon and physicality - other than speed. The same could be true to all Huntsman and Huntresses.
Alpha's semblance to extremify this enhancement.
2#. Bravo's semblance is a combination of Adam's and Yang's and yes it can be overpowered at times, but Bravo isn't like the rest of the assault-esque part of the team. Rather, he is a more laid back approach like Charlie and Delta. He rather take fights that are in a distance then Close combat.
So, I'm going to give moments, where Bravo's semblance is overcharged to the point that his body can't take it. If you can remember Thermodynamics, "Energy can't be created, nor destroyed. Only transfered", which meant that Bravo can't store the energy for extended periods of time or else he'll have to, literally, blow. He ain't dead, but it will hurt.
About the weapons, same deal.
