Chapter 3: grief

The blonde walked passed house after house.
He looked upon Sakuras house.
he sighed and walked up the stairs.
He knocked on the door.
No one answered.
he wiggeled the knob on the door and to his suprise the door was unlocked.
He walked in the house and walked up the stairs.
He took a right and knocked on the door of her bedroom.
"Sakura..."
"Can i come in?"
He asked.
He wiggled the knob on the door.
it was locked.
He heard faint crying.
The blonde sat by the door.
"...I tryed my hardest..."
"But you cant get past Saskues eyes..."
Naruto said.
He chuckled.
He then sighed.
"....I had her in my hands."
"I was so close."
Naruto said.
"but his sword..."
Naruto clenched his fist.
"He threw it and it hit, Sarada."
Naruto sighed once more and let go of his fist.
"Tomorrow I am going to go retrieve Sarada's body..."
"I was wondering... if you would want to come with me."
Naruto stated.
He heard the lock on the door turn.
He stood up and turned the knob.
He slowly opened it and walked in.
He sat at the end of her bed.
He cocked his head to the side.
He placed his hand on her leg.
"I know how you feel."
The blonde rubbed her leg.
"Its hard, every night I will always check on, Sarada before I go to bed."
"When I walk in her room now..."
"Its empty."
Sakura told him.
"I miss her... and its only been a few hours."
Sakura rubbed her eyes.
"I'll come with you Tomorrow."
Sakura said.
the blonde smiled.
"ok... call me when your ready to leave."
The blonde replied.
He started towards her bedroom door.
"And Naruto... Its not your fault.."
The blonde smiled.
And left the house.
