Baby it's three AM
Had you on my mind
And it's not the first time

- 3:00 AM by Finding Hope

"Agh!"

Jaemin stopped swinging as Renjun clutched his head in pain. Jeno ran over quickly to help, but they couldn't do anything as Renjun continued to clutch his head.

When his breathing calmed down, he looked up again.

"I'm sorry about that. I had some weird memory pop into my head." He said as he sat in the shade of a tree.

The two vampires sat next to him, still a little worried for the human in between them.

"It's fine Junnie." Jaemin said as he turned to look at Renjun.

The boy still looked a little shaken up, and he had a blank stare on his face as he looked towards the cars driving by the park.

They sat under the tree for a while, the only sounds being passing vehicles, small animals and their steady breathing.

They were peacefully lost in their own thoughts, each thinking of different things.

Jaemin was having hopeful thoughts that Renjun's episode earlier was him gaining some of his old memories. At the same time, he was trying to stop himself from getting false hope so he wouldn't be hurt again.

Jeno was thinking of how much their current setting reminded him of when they were young. Those three years of pure childish bliss that were brutally wiped from Renjun's mind by an unknown person.

Finally, Renjun was trying his hardest to figure out where that scene came from. It was on the tip of his memories but he couldn't pull it out.

All he knew was that Jeno and Jaemin were in the visions, and that he was ninety eight percent sure they were real.

How they were real he didn't know. He also didn't know why Jeno and Jaemin wouldn't tell him  anything if they were really acquainted in past years.

Jeno was still deep in thought thirty minutes later, trying to put the available clues together to find something, anything that could tell him who ruined his beautiful relationship with the two boys sitting next to him.

All he knew was that the attacker didn't want Renjun to remember them at all. He didn't know why they did, or even if it was a human or vampire.

The people him and Jaemin had fought the night Renjun got his memories wiped were vampires, but was their boss one?

The answer was probably yes,  but if they wanted Renjun they would have taken him already.

He tried thinking even harder, like he did many nights a week ever since he was old enough to know what happened.

Sometimes he thought with Jaemin, other nights he was by himself, up until three in the morning racking his brain for answers.
