Minnesota, here I come

 Hey I'm Y/N L/N. I'm 17, and I'm from Philadelphia,Pennsylvania born and raised. My hobbies are hockey, softball, hanging with friends, and hanging with my family. I have a brother named Angelo who's 18, and a sister named Skyla who's 4. My parents aren't really around because of their jobs but we are doing fine so far. Me and my siblings are very close. Me and my brother grew up playing hockey and softball/baseball so we are teaching Skyla how to play. She is really good for her age.

As I looked at my former room, that was full of life, now empty and depressing, I start to tear up knowing I'm gonna miss this room, this house, this whole neighborhood tbh. I am really scared to leave but I know everything will be ok. I am moving to Stillwater Minnesota for my dad's job. We are only moving there because this job is offering 3x as much as he makes so he took it as soon as it was offered. I sat on the floor and scrolled through Instagram being bored out of my mind. "Y/N let's go time to say goodbye to everyone!" My mom yelled as I let out a sad sigh and walked downstairs. I walked up to the front door and looked at the house one more time, before walking out and my mom locks the door. I turned and seen all my friends and I started tearing up so we all group hugged. "don't worry Y/N it's gonna be ok" Caleb said. "Yea we are gonna visit you during the summer and break and have a great time!" Grace said trying to comfort me. "Yea!" said my other two friends as we let go of the group hug. "I know it'll be ok." I said as we all warmly smiled. "Y/N we gotta go!" I looked down as we all hugged one last time. " Bye guys I love ya'll" I said as they said it back and I got into the car and waved to my friends as we drove off until the house and my friends were out of view. I turned and laid my head on my brothers shoulder and he pet my hair as a way to comfort me. My mom said some stuff about how this will be a good opportunity for me to start a new life. I nodded and let out a long breath as i turned towards the window. Minnesota, here I come.
