You're really cool

I woke up at our first stop. A 7/11 gas station. I got out the car and me and my brother went inside and were joking around and took pics.

We all used the bathrooms and bought some food. After we payed I took a family size bag of hot cheetos and a ice tea arizona (literally the best combo no cap) and started eating the bag with my brother while we watched outer banks on my laptop. ( so if ya'll wondering the little sis is in the left window, brother in the middle, and you in the right window) We watched 6 episodes of outer banks and our mom told us we were here (ik it takes 18 hours to drive from philly to min but just go wit it lmao) I was actually excited to start a new life. We pulled into a driveway and got out the car. I was helping unload boxes when I seen a kid who looked my age playing hockey in his driveway. I had grabbed my hockey back when he looked over at me and smiled. He was honestly so cute so I smied back and he came jogging over. "Hey! you guys must be the new neighbors" He said " I'm Luis.Luis Mendoza nice to meet you" He said smiling and sticking his hand out for me to shake. "Nice to meet you Luis. I'm Y/N" I said smiling and shaking his hand. "Do you guys need help?" he asked as my mom and dad came out. " If you want you can help Y/N she has the most stuff out of all of us" My dad said as we all chuckled. "Ok you can grab that box right there" I said pointing to a medium sized box. "I'll get my bag and that box." I said pointing to my hockey gear that was sitting on another medium sized box. He nodded and we walked inside. We walked to my room after grabbing the last box "Nice room you got here" He said as we both lightly laughed. "Thanks" I said and we set down the last boxes. "Wait you play hockey?" he asked pointing to my hockey bag that i took off my shoulder. " Yep! I've been playing since I was 2." He looked surprised and smiled. "Wait how old are you?" "17" I said as his face lit up."I'm 17! and I play hockey!" We both smiled and I felt butterflies in my stomach as he looked into my eyes. "My team is called the ducks." He said. " I love that name! Are they looking for any new members?" I asked." Yea we are actually we need 1 more player." I nodded.  "I'll tell you what. I'll talk to my coach about having you join is that ok?" I smiled and my face lit up "That is perfect! can I have your number so you can tell about practices and stuff?" I asked as he nodded and we handed each other our phones and put our numbers in. "Thank you Luis. You just made my day 1000 times better!" I said as i hugged and I smiled  at him. "Ofc! you made my day better by just saying Hi to me" He said  and we both just stared at each other (lil awkward if you ask me lol)  both of our faces turned red and I cleared my throat. "Ok well, that's all I needed help with! Thank you so much Luis. I'll text you!" I said as he nodded and smiled. I walked him downstairs and we hugged and he left. When we hugged I felt safe and I didn't know why. I shrugged it off and jogged upstairs and started my room. As I was setting up my room my phone went off. Luis was facetiming me. I quickly looked at myself in the mirror 'hmm decent ig' and answered the phone while putting my airpods in. As soon as I answered his beautiful hazel eyes stared into mine and we both started talking while I set up my room. After I was done setting up my room  I picked up my phone and plopped on my bed while talking to Luis. I looked out my window to see that I had a view of his room. "Hey Luis." "Whats up?" "look out your window" I said as he looked out his window and I waved. He smiled and chuckled. " Hey I got a view of your room!" He said and we both laughed. I honestly loved talking to him and I just met him today. "You know Y/N I literally just met you and I am having the best conversation of my life!" He said and I blushed and smiled. "You're really cool,cute,funny,and amazing! How could someone be so perfect?" He said and realized what he said and I started smiling and blushing so hard. "aww Thank you Luis! And I feel the same towards you! I just love talking to you already" I said as we both were blushing and smiling. We talked for about 4 hours before he had to go to bed so we hung up. I plugged my phone in ad looked around my amazing rooom 

( that room looks almost identical to mine except I have cow bedding :P)

I loved how it turned out so much. I put my led lights and plugged them in.  I put the color on warm orange and asked my alexa to play 'Avacodo Toast by Sexy Pigeon' (this song slaps and it's such a vibe check it out :) ) I sang along to the words  and danced. I had the weird urge to look out my window and I seen Luis staring at me. I blushed with embarrassment and he looked at me and mouthed 'sorry' and i mouthed 'it's fine' and we both laughed. I waved to him and he did the same then I texted him and told him I'm going to bed so we said goodnight and I closed my blinds, got a shower, and put on a pair of dark grey NIKE sweatpants, a white crop top, and my white fuzzy socks. I threw my hair up in a messy bun and washed my face and went to bed. Today was a great day I'm so glad we moved here. I thought about Luis as I fell asleep.
