Jay x Dan Oneshots (Jayniel💛💚)

Lukewarm

Jay yawned as he slumped to the kitchen, dragging his feet on the cold floor. While making his way to the counter, he can hear the sound of glass shuffling along with the sound of pouring water. The smell of coffee fills the air and a smile formed on the blonds lips as he made his way to see his boyfriend making two cups of coffee for the two of them.

Jay quietly tiptoed over to his lover, making sure not to alarm the male as Daniel poured the steaming hot liquid into the cute pastel cups. Dan hummed to himself as he was finally done and before he could turn around and find himself some sugar, he felt someone wrapped their arms around his waist and pulling him into a tight hug.

"My, my isn't a little somebody clingy today?" Daniel chuckled as Jay mumbled something under his breath and landing soft kisses into the latter's shoulders. The embrace felt so warm and Jay doesn't want to let go. But all good things come to an end as Daniel managed to wiggle out and offered his boyfriend some nice coffee. Jay gave an obvious frown but agreed to the offer, feeling a bit fatigued himself.

Jay took small sips of his hot coffee as he can see Daniel putting a mountain of sugar into his coffee as he gave the sweet toothed male a questioning look, cocking his brow to the latter. Dan just rolled his eyes with a smirk forming a challenging look as he also start to drink on his coffee.

Suddenly the two got to a race on who can finish their coffee first and ignoring the burning hot feeling the liquid gave off. Jay reigns victorious as he finishes first while Dan couldn't handle the heat and sticked his tounge out, fanning it with his hands.

Jay just snorted at the sight and gave Dan a kiss to make him feel better, catching Daniel by suprise but soon getting immersed to the kiss too. After a brief moment, they pulled away and laughed together just happy and content having one another.

"You know, you're up pretty early then usual," Jay claimed as he remember both are quite the night owls especially Dan. His night shifts are endless to say the least. Atleast theres Jay to drag him to bed.

"He he how observant. I just need to pack up some stuff that's all," Daniel responded as his eyes shift to the opened suit case laying on the floor with items along with clothes scattred near it.

"Oh yeah, that..." Jay's smile quickly faded as he remembered that Daniel needed to study abroad, meaning they won't be together that much anymore.

"Aww don't worry it will be fine, I will send you lot's of messages later on! Besides, we still have a day or so before I go. How do you want to spend it?" Daniel assured him as he grabbed both of Jay's arms and gave him one of his brightest smile he could conjure. Jay couldn't stay upset at that face and can't help but smile too at that dorky and contagious smile Daniel has thats exceptionally for him.

"Fine, hmm what should we do today?" Jay hummed to himself. His eyebrows scrunched together as you can hear the gears on his head turning. Jay's face then lit up as he knew what to do now. It was a simple request nothing much to it.

"Well you owe me a relaxing day with cuddles then since I did win our little competition earlier" Jay ordered with a smug look, reminding his lover about the coffee drinking experience.

"Fine, fine, your wish is my command your highness," Daniel joked as he bowed towards Jay and both just laughed again like dorks.

The day passes by with Jay being covered in a blanket on the couch letting the cushions swallow him with Dan beside him as the aroma of scented candles and the lights off fill in the relaxing ambience. Dan knew Jay was always a sucker for these but to be honest, he is too.
