Screw work, cuddles are better

It has been a very long and tiring day. Jay walks into his room rubbing his eyes while yawning feeling fatigued. After all that day of work, he can't wait to just lay in bed and pass out till the next day. As he streched his arms upwards, he was greeted by the sight of his beloved boyfriend. Daniel was sitting on the soft cream bed as his eyes were glued to his laptop screen focused on what ever is displayed there. The blond scoffs and went up to the greenette then covered his eyes while giving a peck behind his head, noting that he smells nice and went on to teasing Daniel.

"Guess who~" Jay teasingly coos.

"Pfft- oh nooo, is this a certain scary psycopath coming to kill me?" Daniel jokingly replies as he tries to move Jay's hand away so he can see his laptop screen once again.

"Well you are incorrect but close enough I guess, it's actually sociopath, get it right Danny," Jay freed his hand from Daniel's eyes only to ruffle his soft hair to a mess.

"H-hey, Stop it! My hair is getting all messy, I can't see!" Daniel retorted as Jay smirks mischievously but then to stoped and pulled his hand away.

"What are you doing right now?" Jay peeks in on Daniel's screen resting his chin on the latters shoulder, leaning in his body on his boyfriends body as support.

"I'm doing work at my laptop duh, but yeah i'm planning to finish this tonight but it might take a while," Dan replied as he pats Jay's soft hair like a cat. But eventually Jay got off which made Daniel frown a bit.

As Dan combed his hair with his fingers to fix his messy hair, Jay made his way to bed and laid down getting into a comfortable position while opening his arms wanting to embrace his boyfriend before heading to bed.

"Sorry Jay, I can't right now. I want to finish this as fast as possible so just get some shut eye while I do my work okay?" Jay seemed upset of the fact and crossed his arms as he pouts but Dan doesn't budge and still stayed focused on work. Jay finally gives up then nods and succumbs to the comfy bed as Dan ran his hand trough his golden locks while still typing with his other hand.

All Jay heard was the sound of Dan typing at a slow pace as he used his other hand to stroke his hair as he slowly drift away to sleep hugging his pillow as a replacement from Dan's absence since he's being very touch starved. The greenette looked over at the sleeping blond as his eyes softened but then snaped back to reality realizing he needed to do work.

The next day comes and Jay groans as the lights were blinding his eyes along with a few stains from his pillow which are most likely from droll. He sat on bed, wiping away some left over drool from his mouth while adjusting his eyes as he looked at the clock which say's that it's around 5 AM right now.

"Had a nice sleep? You were drooling and snoring the whole time," Daniel snickered as Jay yawned and hummed in agreement.

"Yeah I had the best sleep without you since I have my trusty pillow with me," Jay pulled his pillow closer, still a little upset that all Dan does is just stare at his laptop screen all day and the latter just scoffs.

Looking upon greenette more, Jay just noticed something. How his pretty brown eyes had dark circles around them along with cold coffee cupped by his hands as he had messy bed head competing Jay's untamable blond hair along with a very tired and slugish posture. Dan definetly didn't sleep, like at all.

"Did you get any sleep yesterday?" The blond questioned as he gestured his hand asking for the cup of coffee for a wake me up call.

"Mmm not really... I kinda got distracted while doing work and may or may not procrastinated so now i'm here still trying to finish it." Daniel replied as he shifted his gaze away, rubbing the back of his neck while handing the cup to Jay with his other hand.

"Jeez I really should've kept an eye on you, your sleep schedule is worse than mine and that say's something." Jay claimed as he took a sip of Dan's coffee. It tasted sweet. Too sweet for his taste really, but coffee is coffee can't really complain much on his boyfriend's sweet tooth addiction. It's cute to be honest.

Daniel continued on facing his laptop and the sounds of click and clacks were heard here and there. Jay sighs as he sets the cup on the bedside cupboard and crawled behind to his sleep deprived boyfriend.

"Okay time out for you," Before Dan could respond he was cut off by Jay wrapping his arms around his waist and pulling him back and caging him in with a very big hug as he yelps and manages to press save before being dragged to the clutches of this cuddle monster. Now he's stuck in this cuddle trap contraption the blond made.

"Hey let me go!" Dan screeched as he flailed his arms and legs around trying to wiggle himself out from Jay's grasp but only for the blond to tightened his grip more.

In the end Dan finally gave up and started to give in as he relaxes to the blonds touch since Jay is being very stubborn and isn't planning on letting the greenette go any time soon. Dan started to shift closer to Jay leaning his head to his chest and melting in this new found warmth and smiling softly as he can feel a faint heartbeat which calms him down even more.

"Just so you know i'm not letting go until you sleep right here, right now," Jay proudly claims as his plan is working then kisses Dan's forehead.

"Yeah not happening, sleep is for the weak." Dan replied with a yawn, challenging Jay's remark with droopy eyes as his reply was like a whisper at this point.

"Mhm sure babe, tell em who's boss," Dan hums in agreement to Jay as he finally closes his eyes and starts to let out cute little snores.

"Knew that would work." Jay laughed to himself as he finally reigns victorious. He swept Daniel's bangs aside to admire his cute chubby face before burrying his face into Daniel. Even though he just woke up he doesn't mind going back to bed besides, there's his beloved Daniel this time by his side and he couldn't be more happy.

Jay managed to somehow close the latter's laptop with his left foot and pulled the bed covers towards them and eventually falling asleep in the greenette's warmth with a soft smile.
