Chapter 1. Rescuing The Woman I Love

My POV: I will never forget it for long as I live I was walking home from the theater I had just finished performing MacBeth when it happened the street lamps were lit up I turned the corner when I heard a scream so I ran to who was screaming and what I saw made me angry I saw two rough looking men and a very frightened young woman

No please let me go I will not say anything please please just let me go the young woman begged

I could tell she was scared I knew I had to do something as I thought about what to do I saw one of the men hold out a knife so I decided to do something about it I walked up behind them and I grabbed the thief's wrist he screamed and let go of the knife as he did I punched him right in the face I could hear his nose breaking and blood gushed out I shook my hand after I punched him as I shook my hand I noticed that my knuckles were bleeding but I did not care suddenly the other guy tried to go at me I could not believe what I was doing it was two against one but I did not care

I hope I do not get into trouble with the police for this I whispered softly to myself

I fought the two men for a while eventually they got scared off and took off running cowardly with their tails between their legs I was breathing heavily as I examined my hand and knuckles which were now bleeding after a few minutes I looked back at the young woman who had hid behind some crates she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen she had long blonde hair and pretty blue eyes

It is alright madam they are gone "are you alright? I said catching my breath

Yes I'am alright just a little shaken that is all she replied

Well I'am glad that you are alright and not harmed in any way I said

Me too and thank you for saving my life Mr...... she replied

Lawrence Lawrence Talbot and it is nice to meet you Mrs.... I said bowing my head slightly in acknowledgement

Oh forgive me my name is Lillian Lillian Truman Lawrence Talbot "are you by chance that wonderful Shakespearian actor? Lillian asked

Yes I'am and you must be that wonderful ballerina I replied

Yes I'am Lillian replied smiling and blushing slightly

Well it is nice to meet you Mrs Truman I was just headed to dinner when I heard you scream "would you like to join me? I asked

I would love to Mr Talbot thank you Lillian replied

I smiled happily and offered my arm and she gladly accepted we walked to a nice restaurant and sat down and got to know each other I told her all about me being an actor and working in the theater and she told me all about her being a ballerina and her love of dance we smiled and laughed happily soon it was time for us to part I had offered to walk her home and she happily accepted

I really had a wonderful time tonight and I want to thank you again for saving my life "how can I ever repay you? Lillian said

Well I'am glad that you had a wonderful time and you are welcome and you do not have repay me your safety was more important I hope to see you again I said

Yes I hope we can meet again as well well goodnight Mr Talbot Lillian said walking up to her front door

Goodnight Mrs Truman I replied

We smiled happily at each other before she disappeared into her apartment building I smiled happily at myself then my way to my apartment I walked into the apartment building and up to my apartment as I walked into the front door my dog a white German Shepherd dog Hamlet barks happily and rushes over to me

Hello Hamlet I said petting him

I walked into my bedroom and got dressed for bed then I got into bed I read a script for a play that I was going to be in for awhile after awhile I blew out the candle that was on my nightstand and went to sleep thinking about Lillian and our time together

Goodnight Mrs Lillian sweet dreams I whispered softly as I fell asleep
