Chapter 3. Confessing Love For One Another At A Romantic Resterant

My POV: it had been two weeks since the recital we were able to get free from our schedules we decided to go to dinner and this was when I had decided to confess my feelings about Lillian to her I got dressed up wearing a black tuxedo I always liked dressing well and in excellent clothes after I tied my bow tie and put my tuxedo jacket on then I put on my fur coat and grabbed my top hat then I walked downstairs I had asked Lauren if she could watch Hamlet for me while I was at dinner with Lillian and she agreed when I walked downstairs into the living room Lauren looked up at me and smiled

Well well look at you dear brother Lauren said smiling happily and walking to me

Well what do you think Lauren? I asked holding out my arms

You look handsome Lillian is going to be the luckiest girl tonight Lauren said

Indeed she will be and thank you again for watching Hamlet as well I replied

It is no trouble now go have a good time everything will be alright here Lauren said guiding me to the front door

Alright I will be back at 8:00 and be good for Lauren Hamlet I said pointing to Hamlet

Hamlet barked and wagged his tail I looked back at Lauren who was laughing to make sure everything alright

Go Lawrence you're going to be late go everything will be alright we'll be fine here Lauren said

Alright I replied opening the front door and walking out putting on my top hat

I walked outside and climbed into a carriage and arrived at the restaurant Lillian had already been there waiting for me when I walked into the restaurant Lillian turned to me and smiled happily and I smiled happily back at her she looked beautiful as ever the host seated us and the waiter came and we ordered our food as the waiter went put our order through I had decided to tell Lillian how I felt about her

This is a wonderful restaurant Lillian said

Yes it is and you are a wonderful ballerina I enjoyed watching you dance you are very good at it I replied

Aw thank you Lawrence I really appreciate that thank you Lillian said

You are welcome um Lillian there is something that I have been wanting to tell you I started

is everything alright? Lillian asked looking at me worried

Everything is alright I wanted to tell you that I'am in love with you I have been in love with you ever since that night I rescued you I just wanted to tell you I said

I have felt the same way about you ever since that night I love you very much Lawrence Lillian replied

I smiled happily at Lillian I was glad I told her how I felt about her she smiled happily back while drinking a glass of wine soon the waiter came back with our food and we started eating afterwards we decided to dance I smiled happily at Lillian she looked so beautiful and happy

May I have permission to kiss you and date you? I asked as we danced

Yes you may Lawrence Lillian replied

I smiled happily and kiss her we danced for awhile then it was time to go home I walked her to the front door

I had a wonderful time again I can not wait to do this again goodnight Lawrence Lillian said

I'am glad that you had a wonderful time and I hope so to goodnight Lillian I replied

I kissed her goodnight then walked back to the carriage that we had rode in and headed home when I got back Hamlet and Lauren were up which surprised me I walked in and was greeted by Hamlet who was happy to see me

So how did it go? Lauren asked

It went well I confessed my feelings to Lillian I said

And? Lauren asked walking into the room and in front of me

And what? I replied

And what did she say? Lauren asked

I looked up at Lauren and smirked which made her realize that I was happy she covered her mouth with her hands in delight

You mean? Lauren asked

Yes we are in love I answered

Oh my gosh that is wonderful I'am so happy for you Lawrence! Lauren said running over to me hugging me

Hey easy now I said as Lauren was squeezing me

Sorry sorry this is wonderful before we know it you guys will be married Lauren replied

Woe slow down there Lauren we are not there yet I said chuckling

Well you never know dear brother Lauren said

We talked for awhile then Lauren left and it was time for bed I got ready for bed I climbed into bed read for a little while then blew out the candle on my nightstand and went to sleep thinking about my time with Lillian

Goodnight Lillian sweet dreams I whispered softly to myself falling asleep
