- - - - - The following day, was their official graduation.
It was also like a day off, which is nice. Like yesterday, you hung out with your friends. Today you all went to an open grassland for the day. It was fun yet peaceful. You did bring food, since you'd planned to stay all evening till sundown before the ceremony.
The day was warm. it was relaxing. Hanging out with everyone like this was a dream since you never got to do it often. So you tried enjoying it while it lasted. It'd only be today for a while after all. When everyone has chosen their regiment, it's straight to work, so you won't get much of an opportunity after this one. Plus, most of you are going to be separated by joining other regiments. That meant there was an even lesser chance of you all getting together again.

The afternoon slowly began to end, leaving you all grieving and never wanting the day to end. You'd all grown so close with each other as friends, none of you were ready to part from one another.
Before it was time to leave for the ceremony of choosing, you all shared a group hug. It took some convincing for a few of you to join, but they finally gave in after lots of begging and pleading.
When it was finally time to leave, you guys walked to the area where the ceremony was being held at together.
When arrived, you were ordered to get into formation once again. ________________________
During the ceremony, commander Of the Scours, Erwin Smith, came out with a long speech. You weren't paying attention much, but one thing that was said by him made you focus again. He had asked recruits joining other regiments other than the Scouts to exit the area. You watched as so many people had walked past you.
But what shocked you the most, was people who were originally joining other regiments stayed put. Jean was who shocked you most. He had always rambled on and on about how he'd get to live in the interior, yet here he is, joining the Scouts.
Commander Erwin had asked you all, "If someone ordered you to die would you do it?"
Would I? Well, suppose it was for a cause. If it would help humanity then.. yes. I would.
"Those of you who remain standing here. You all have my up most respect. This is a true salute. Together! We offer our hearts!" He saluted, along with everyone else.
"You all have over come your fears. You're all brave soldiers." Erwin commented. I looked around me at everyone, not many people were there.
Once commander Smith had exited the stage, it was time to go back to the rooms. But first you were going to speak with your friends.
"Sasha! Connie! Jean! You guys stayed?! Why?!" You ran up to them. Jean looked down to his feet.
"I.. I did it for someone.." he mumbled. You could only give him a confused look.
"And you two?" You asked connie and Sasha.
"Honestly, I have no idea." Connie laughed.
"Me neither.." Sasha softly smiled.
"Well, I'm glad you're all here. Look on the bright side, we won't be separated!" You exclaimed. They laughed at your comment. ______________________ The night was over, you all went back to your rooms and slept as much as you could. The next day would be going and getting your new uniforms.
Eren had already been with the Scouts for some time now. After the titan attack, it was revealed he could turn into one himself. Once he was put on trial it was concluded the Scouts would look after him for the time being. You had been waiting as patiently as you could to see him again. He was your friend after all.
You were able to sleep, but not for long. Your mind kept you up thinking of all the possibilities when joining the Scouts. You thought what it could bring to you. Pros and cons. You still had second thoughts about joining them, but you could feel it in your bones this was the right choice.
Sooner or later you had finally drifted off to sleep.
