Funny enough, it was a bee that woke you up the next morning. It landed right on your nose, then proceeded to fly over to the many flowers surrounding you, before your tired body even got a chance to flinch.

Your head rested on Dream's chest, and you didn't wanna get up. His heart was beating against your ear in such a calming way it almost lulled you back to sleep. It was beating in sync with your own.

The two of you had spent most of last night, stargazing and talking. You didn't remember when you fell asleep, but you sure had slept well. Despite the fact you had slept outside, you had slept like a rock.

You raised yourself from Dream's embrace, much against your will. You looked at his sleeping form and rolled your eyes at how he had slept with his mask on. "Idiot."

   "You take that back."

You gasped and pulled his mask off to reveal a grinning Dream, who definitely wasn't asleep. You covered his face again, laughing. "Dammit, Dream. When did you wake up?"

He shrugged and sat up. Stretched. "Not too long ago. How did you sleep, beautiful?"

"Okay, don't call me that." You held a finger up tiredly, but couldn't help but smile. "And I slept pretty well, thank you for asking. You're pretty warm, so I didn't freeze to death."

"And you work pretty well as a blanket. Perhaps I should use you as one more often."

"Objectifying women isn't cool, I thought I taught you that a long time ago." You laughed and stood up. You dusted some grass straws out of your hair and clothes, before reaching your hand out for Dream. He took it while grinning.

He didn't let go, once he had gotten on his feet. But you wouldn't have let him, even if he had wanted to. Something had changed since last night. Well, obviously, but something was still different. You had always loved each other deep down, but you hadn't been in love. You guessed it was official to say, that you were now.

"Well, we better head home so we can get some breakfast. I didn't take anything with me, because I didn't know we'd spend the night, but..." He smirked at you. "I don't have any regrets."

"Sure, loverboy," You simply said, squeezing his hand. You didn't want to leave this place yet. It was so nice to be outside, and your time here with Dream had been beyond amazing. You couldn't even put into words how happy you were that he had taken you here.

Dream saw how you looked back at the sunflower field as you began to head back to the nether portal. "Don't worry, we can return whenever you want," he assured you.
