It was a normal sunny day at the park. You were playing on the swings, going higher and higher each time.
You went too high that you fell off, You were ok. You really were. "H-Hey, are you ok?" I looked up and seen a boy reach his hand out to you.
"Oh, I'm fine!" You grabbed his hand lifting yourself up. "What's your name?" You asked.
"Makoto N-Naegi..." He replied.
"Wanna be friends?" You asked.
He looked up and smiled. "I never had any f-friends..." You grabbed his hand. "We'll be friends, starting now! Let's go play on the slides!"
And so we did.
"Makoto!" His mom yelled. "I gotta go now!"
"Makoto, will you be here tomorrow?" You asked.
He nodded. He walked off with his mom.
"See you Naegi!!" I yelled. "See you Y/N!" He waved.
The next day, you went to the park and waited for Naegi. Took some time, but he finally showed up. "Hello Naegi!" You said when you seen him. "Hello!" He replied.
"Wanna go make sand castles?" You asked him.
"Sure!" He followed you to the sand pit. "Oh no! We don't have a toy to make a sand castle" You cried. "O-Oh... maybe we can make a sand volcano?" He comforted you.
Your eyes widened with excitement. "OF COURSE! LETS DO THIS!" You encouraged yourself and Naegi. Naegi smiled and began putting the sand in a pile. You helped him not too long after.
After the 25 minutes, your volcano was done!
You sighed. "I wish it could have lava inside it..." You looked down. "If I could make it happen, I would!" He smiled at you.
You looked at him and grinned. You couldn't believe how lucky you were to have him as a friend, no, best friend. You wondered why such an amazing person had no friends. You took it off your mind eventually and started playing with him more.
"Makoto! Time to go!" His mom yelled. "Oh, I gotta go... see ya!" You looked down sadly. "Ok.... see you again tomorrow.." He reached his hand out to you and lifted you up. He hugged you goodbye. That made you happier. "Bye Makoto!!" You yelled. He looked back and waved. He then left with his mom.
"Hey!" Your big brother popped into behind you. You turned back and was happy. Your big brother was your second favourite, he was nice, funny, and he always made you keep a smile on your face. "Let's go now!" He said. "Ok!" You grinned with your teeth out. You held his hand and walked off to your house.
After that long walk, you opened the door and yelled, "Mama!" You ran up to her and hugged her. "I missed you sweetie!" She smiles with joy. "I missed you too mommy!" Still hugging her. "What's for dinner?" You questioned. "Oh, just spaghetti." Your eyes widened and you started drooling. "SPAghetti!" You loved spaghetti.
"Honey, it's time for dinner!" You got off your bed and ran downstairs as fast as you could.
Your mom lifted you up and kissed you on the cheek. You loved it when she does that. She put you down and you went to the table and sat down. Your big brother was already sitting down.
Your mom brought you and your big brothers plate, you noticed she didn't have one. "Mommy, are you gonna eat?" You asked. "Why, yes I am, it's just that I put my plate on the counter. I'm gonna grab it now!" She replied.
After you all ate, your mom told you to go to bed. You were tired anyways. So you went up to your room and slept.
The next day, you and your brother were walking to the park. "Have you made any friends?" He asked. "Yes, I made a friend!" You said. "What's his or her name?" He asked you. You got kinda annoyed since he keeps asking questions when you both were walking to the park. "It's a him, and his name is Makoto Naegi." You answered.
As soon as your brother heard it was a him, he started being annoying. He kept asking, 'how's he like?'. 'How does he look like?'
You were glad you finally made it to the park. "I'll pick you up at 5!" He walked back.
"Okay!" You yelled.
Once you made it to the park. You've seen Naegi getting bullied by kids. You were mad. You ran up to him and yelled at the kids. You were kinda intimidating, so you scared off the kids pretty fast. You looked back at Makoto and helped him up.
"Are you ok?" You asked. "Y-Yeah..." He rubbed his cheek. The more you look at him, the more bruises you see on him. You wondered what the kids did to him, that gave him bruises and scratch marks. "No you're not! You have bruises and scratch marks on you! What did those kids do?" You yelled. Makoto ignored you and pointed at the spot where we built our sand volcano. "T-They destroyed our sand volcano, so I tried to tell them... they ended u-up hitting me with branches.. one of them slapped me and punched me.." He replied. You were angered. But you calmed yourself down. "Let's go slide off that slide!" You pointed at the biggest slide in the park. "O-Ok!!" He yelled with happiness. You haven't seen him smile this much, so you smiled too.
"Makoto!" His mom yelled. She walked up to him. "Hm? Who's this?" She asked pointing at me. "Oh, that's Y/N!" Makoto smiled.
"Hi..." I said. "Hello, darling! Friends with my son Makoto?" She said. "Y-Yes, I am!" I replied. "Mom, before we go, can you take a picture of us going down that slide?" He pointed at the slide.
"Ok dear." She replied. You and Makoto climbed the slide and slid down. You and Makoto screamed with joy in it. You had a big smile. You and Makoto were laughing. So, his mom got the picture. "I'll print two copies and give one to you, and one to my son." She said. "Ok miss!" You replied. "Bye Makoto!" You yelled. "Bye Y/N!" He yelled back.
And that was how you became friends with Makoto Naegi, a sweet boy, shy boy.
