Wally P.O.V-

Silence filled the room after i heard him say that, something feeling off about the way he worded it. ' How many times has he actually been injured?'

I think back to all the times i had been by his side to comfort him, which was quite a lot. Many broken bones, shootings, getting stabbed and so on... But how many times have I not been there?

" Wally?" i broke out of my train of thought, hearing the quiet voice, followed by wheezes

It took a few moments,  before I remembered that i had a voice, quickly replying " y-yes? You ok" Stupid question! " whats wrong?"

He gave me a simple pained expression and then nodded " y-yeah im fine....b-but y-you just look stressed...." He stares at me with the bold blue eyes.

" y-yep im good! very good! Im n-not freaking over the f-fact that m-my friend is about t-to die!!" I found myself starting to shake and  pant. I couldn't hear his voice anymore, everything silent

" Lly....-ally.... Wally!" I flinched, hearing the strained voice and found my senses to take a deep breath and looked up.He had sat himself up, making the blood pool faster into the bandages, but had a determined look on his face.

He dragged himself over to my side, gritting his teeth in pain, and thrn wrapped his arms around me tightly.

I was too out of it to realize what was happening, to realise the state of the bird, and to realize how I desperatly needed to get my act together

Dick mumbled calming things to me, telling me that i need to breath. He then instructed me to focus on his and my heartbeat, trying to match them.

We sat there in silent, way after i calmed down. He rested his head on my shoulder, eyes closed as i assumed he was resting.

I continued to stay still, holding his limp hand and listening to the heartbeats that matched each other, untill i heard something that seemed off.

"Dick?" I mumble softly and pull him a little closer, eyes widening as he fell limp against my lap, finally seeing the amount of blood pooling around us. I quickly layed him down, and placed my head to his chest.

And what i was met with, was....

Silence
