"Yeah. We can see jungkook's ball take another wicket." The announcer said as cheers spread across the ground.
"I can't take this anymore. I'll play." Taehyung said groaning.
"But we have to let them win. This is the final match. If they don't win, they will lose. As the ritual, we have to let them win. So please bear with it." Jimin said consoling taehyung.
"But we can't lose by a huge gap. This is my game. As a captain, it would be a shame if they all lost by 50 runs." Taehyung said as he walked towards the stadium.
"Okay, are you going to play now?" Jimin followed taehyung.
"Yes, this is the 8th wicket. Our score is 48. They scored 149 runs." Taehyung replied.
Jimin said nothing. He looked at taehyung who was walking towards the ground.
This was the final match. The freshmen and sophomores were close-run. The third and fourth years also featured for few sports. The first place winners scored 10 points and the second and third place winners scored 5 and 3 points respectively. So the freshmen have to win the game today if they want to win the trophy. As expected, jungkook showed off his skills. He was a good bowler. He took 5 wickets out of 8 wickets. He also scored 50 runs for his team as a batsman. Taehyung took the bat and positioned himself in the spot. His eyes met jungkook's squinting eyes, bringing a smug smile to his lips.
As time went on, jungkook lost his temper as taehyung scored indefinitely. Taehyung scored 4, 6 runs for each ball. The match reached the final with the sophomores having to score 7 runs off 5 balls to win. Taehyung scored 95 runs. Jungkook bowled. This is the last over he can bowl. The first ball passed as the other batsman was unable to score. Two more balls went that way. For the other ball, taehyung and the other player switched to take one run. Now for the sophomores to win, taehyung must score six runs off the final ball. But he can't do it. They must allow the first years to win. So he scored 4 points and scored 99 points total.
Cheers spread around again. The juniors danced happily and rejoiced. The other players cheered as bouncing jungkook up and down. He was the player of the match. Taehyung smiled at them and looked at jimin.
"I thought you were going to beat them because of that boy."
"Ha ha.. you know I don't break the ritual. And that brat, I don't hate him nor I like him." Taehyung said honestly. He forgot jungkook's words a long time ago. But he knew the younger still hated him. He just didn't care about that.
"Now.. we have to bathe them in muddy water. Have you prepared it?" Taehyung asked.
"Yeah, here they come in time." Jimin said, pointing to the senior team who had brought the muddy water jars. They looked at taehyung and he signaled them to continue. They threw muddy water at the cheering freshmen while everyone squealed in surprise.
"Okay.. This is the end of the sport event. You can go now. Take a shower." Taehyung announced with a chuckle.
The freshmen groaned and wiped the muddy water off their bodies. Many of them accepted it as a fun event but some of them, including jungkook got mad.

"Okay, we told you to come today to give you nicknames." Jimin said.
"Okay, let's start with your two representatives. Where's yugyeom and micky. Come on." Taehyung signaled for them to come.
"Now what name do we give to yugyeom?" Jackson asked looking at the others.
"You'll all be called by nicknames later today, right? We ask everyone. You all have to remember everyone else's card."
"You can both choose a card as the representatives. But you have to explain why you chose it with five reasons.. right?" Yugyeom and micky nodded.
