Godzilla: Resurgence

Chapter 3: Goddess of Earth

A ship peacefully floated across the ocean, With a giant egg safely inside. Michi slept in a sleeping bag near the egg. In her dream, A beautiful yellow light glowed in the dark night sky, when suddenly, She saw destruction. A city burning, and then, news reports of Humanity going extinct. She sat up quickly while breathing heavily. She looked at the egg and put her hand on it. The egg was glowing and making strange sounds. "Shh.. Shh. It's okay, Mothra. It's okay.." 

Someone rushed onto the top deck. "Ma'am! Something's approaching quickly!" Godzilla breached the ocean's surface and roared. He slowly made his way towards the egg. He roared and weapons mounted on the ship, aimed and fired at Godzilla. He roared and his spines turned a bright blue. "Stop firing!" Michi rushed inside the ship's cockpit. "Stop firing at Godzilla!" Before the commanders could cease fire, A loud explosion shook the ship and fire soon blazed across the boat, as it begin sinking quickly. 

The egg broke off it's straps and fell into the ocean. Godzilla roared as flames ate away at the ship. Michi grabbed onto a piece of debris as the ship fully sank into the water. She huffed and luckily, the debris was large enough for her to sit on completely. She got on it and watched as Godzilla begin turning away, and retreating. Suddenly, Light burst out the ocean and Michi got a flash of.. Mothra in her vision! The Larva of Mothra burst out the ocean and let out her shriek.

Godzilla didn't seem to attack at first. Michi coughed out water and looked- Confused. "Why the hell aren't you attacking her?.." Godzilla huffed and went back into the ocean. "He- Why?.." Mothra was now in front of Michi. She sighed and smiled, putting her hand on Mothra's head. She begin glowing blue and she huffed. "You're growing already?-" Her entire body turned into a shining blue electricity was coming off of her.
