Sorry, this is a shorter chapter, it's mainly a filler with some context for future chapters. Also! I've started adding gifs to the chapters, I hope y'all like that. Enjoy, babes!

After Natasha had finished her lunch, she headed straight to the lab. When she walked into the room, she saw Bruce over at the main computer, staring at it very intently. "Are you free to talk?" she asked as she walked over to him.

Bruce looked up and pulled his glasses off. "Sure, what's going on?"

The spy looked down somewhat nervously. "Today, I took Wanda to that group grief thing we talked about a few days ago."

"That's good. How was it?"

"Fine for the most part. But the conversation she had led us to talk about Vision's burial place... I told her that he never had a final resting place. She was upset by that, which I think is normal. I would be upset, too, if I were her. So, I wanted to ask you whatever happened to Vision's body after you and Tony took him."

Bruce sat back in his seat, setting his glasses on the table. "I don't have it anymore."

"What?" Natasha looked up, eyes wide.

"After almost a year of working on his body, Tony and I gave up. We couldn't bring him back online. What was Vision or J.A.R.V.I.S. was unreachable at this point. I don't know if it was because of the damages he sustained during the fight against Thanos, or what Wanda did to him, but there was no way we could bring him back." He explained.

"Then we should've buried him, Bruce! We would have with anyone else from the team. Where is his body now? And if you used him for parts, I swear to God..."

"No, nothing like that." Bruce shook his head. "We gave him to another lab to see if they could fix him... that was three years ago."

"Bruce," Natasha groaned.

He put his hands up in defense. "I never thought she would come back, so how could I have known we should've kept him?"

"Because if it was any other member, we would have done the right thing and buried him..." Natasha said.

Bruce sighed loudly. "Nat, I'm sorry, but it's not how things happened. We're just going to have to tell her that."

The Russian raised a brow. "Tell her that her boyfriend who should be in the ground is in some lab? God knows where or what's happened to his body because the two smartest guys on the team couldn't fix him? Why don't you tell her that?" she said before walking off.

She headed back upstairs to the living space floor. She let out a heavy sigh as she walked into the dining room. She saw the boys in the living room watching TV. She grabbed a beer from the fridge before walking over to them and sitting down next to Bucky.

"What did Bruce say?" he asked softly.

Natasha sighed. "His body is at another lab... I don't know how I'm going to tell her." She explained before taking a swig of her beer.

Bucky looked over at the redhead. "Do you want me to talk to her?"

"No," she quickly said. "No, I'm afraid she might hurt you or some of the other boys. I'm the only one she seems to be comfortable around... I'm just going to have to tell her. If she has another... freak out then I'll deal with it."

"I don't want you getting hurt either, Nat." The brunette man said.

"I know... but we don't really have any other options."

Bucky just nodded before turning his attention back to the TV.

After a few hours, Natasha was on her third bottle of beer and was finally feeling some of her anxiety about the situation subsiding with the small amount of alcohol in her system. She got up from the sofa before heading upstairs. When she got to the hallway, she walked towards Wanda's room and lightly knocked on the door.

"Yes?" Wanda called out.

"Can we talk?" the Russian asked.

"Sure," Wanda said before the door opened.

Natasha stepped inside, smiling weakly at the younger woman. "Hey..." she said before walking over to the bed and sitting down.

"Hi," Wanda said softly. She looked like she had been crying recently.

"So... I talked to Bruce."

"And?"

Natasha looked down at her lap nervously. "So, I guess after the fight, Bruce and Tony took Vision's body back to the lab, like I said before. Bruce said that he and Tony worked on Vision for over a year before they gave up on it because they couldn't bring him back online."

The Witch looked over at Natasha. "Where is Vision's body?" she asked but when the other woman was silent, she asked a little harsher. "Where's Vision?"

Natasha felt her heart skip a beat at the rough tone. "He's at another lab... Brice said that they gave him over three years ago..."

"What?" Wanda yelled. "Are you fucking serious, Nat?" she felt her anger getting worse. Her eyes started to glimmer red.

"I had nothing to do with that, Wanda." The spy said calmly.

"I don't care! You could've made sure he was buried like he wanted! None of you followed his wishes! He had a will just like any of us. Y-you're supposed t-to follow h-his wishes!" her voice started to shake towards the end of the sentence, and the objects in the room started to shake as well.

"Wanda," Natasha said in a warning tone. She grabbed the woman's hand, squeezing it. She could feel a fuzzy feeling against her palm as it met Wanda's. She assumed it was an energy ball about to form.

The younger woman took a deep breath before letting out a heavy sigh. "I-I just don't u-understand wh-why he w-wasn't buried."

"I don't either," Natasha sighed. "I can talk to Bruce again and see if we can get him back from the lab... would that help?"

Wanda just shrugged her shoulders. "I-I don't know..."

"Well, if I can get him back from that other lab, we can have the funeral he deserves."

Wanda wiped away the tears that were about to fall. "Yeah... I-I think that might help."

"Okay, I can do that then," Natasha said softly. With her thumb, she caressed the back of the Witch's hand. "I'm sorry it's come to this."

Wanda sighed. "I-it's fine..." she said as she rested her head on Natasha's shoulder.

Natasha looked down at the other woman, biting her lip softly when she saw the miserable look on her face. "I'll make this right, Little Witch."

The two were silent for what felt like forever. They just watched the TV on the dresser. Natasha didn't know the show, but she was thankful that it made Wanda chuckle every once in a while, with something silly the characters would do.

Eventually, Wanda fell asleep while leaning against Natasha. The older woman hesitantly pulled away, slowly laying Wanda down until she was resting her head on her pillow. She tucked her into bed before slowly getting up, trying to not wake the woman up.

Wanda reached for Natasha as she felt her getting up. "No..." she murmured.

Natasha stopped moving when she felt a pair of hands on her hips. She looked over at Wanda, seeing she was still fast asleep. She bit her lip before laying down beside the younger redhead. It was an unusual feeling when the woman pulled her close, resting her head on her shoulder again. She wasn't used to having someone hold her, let alone someone she actually enjoyed spending time with. She was never one for cuddling unless it was a part of a mission that required her to be in bed with the target, and even then, she hated it.

But with Wanda, she found that she didn't hate it all that much, she just wasn't used to it. She almost felt comforted by it strangely. She laid her head back against the pillow, staring up at the ceiling. She didn't know whether or not she should sleep or just be there for Wanda. But while trying to think about what she wanted to do, Natasha fell asleep in Wanda's arms.
