Wanda was the first one of the pair to get up. She went about her usual morning routine that she had fallen into. She took a shower, brushed her teeth, lathered her hair in a leave-in conditioner, and got dressed for the day in a pair of grey leggings, and a red sweater. Once she was ready, she headed downstairs.

Clint sat at the table with an empty plate to the side. He was holding a mug of coffee and staring at a tablet in his hand, most likely looking at the latest news or his e-mails.

Wanda spotted two more plates on the table, one with coffee to the side, and another with a mug of Wanda's morning tea. She smiled to herself as she sat down and started eating.

"Is Nat still asleep?" Laura asked from the kitchen. She was cleaning the dishes from breakfast.

"Yes, she was out cold when I got done with my shower. I wouldn't be surprised if she sleeps longer than usual today." The Witch said softly before eating a piece of bacon off her plate.

"She's always exhausted after missions," Clint said before looking across the table at Wanda. "Did you two talk?"

Wanda smiled sheepishly. "A little bit." She took a sip of her tea before looking at the man. "She's talking about retiring."

Clint's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Really? Nat retiring? I never thought I would see the day."

Wanda cracked a small smile. "I guess Fury gave her an ultimatum, and we talked about the possibility of her just being done with it. I explained that I've thought of doing the same thing. I mean, you know I've said this before, but I'm done with the Avengers. I don't want to be doing this anymore. I told her that I want to talk to Fury before he's calling me next. Tasha said she understood why I say that... she already has a meeting set up with him next week, so I'll be going with her to talk to him."

Clint listened carefully. His brows were still raised. "I think that's probably the best idea. She's wanted out for years, and maybe now is finally her chance."

The Witch smiled softly. "I think so, too... and you know, this way, we can focus on other things."

Laura and Clint glanced at each other with an all-knowing smile. "So, do you still want that list of houses?" Clint asked.

Wanda nodded with a small smile. "I think Natasha should take the list rather than me. I don't know what to even look for. That's something else we need to talk about more in-depth."

"Are you and Natasha going to get a house together?" Laura asked.

"I think that's something she wants to talk about. Because it's a nice idea... I-I'm just not sure I'm ready for something as big as that." Wanda said shyly as she looked down.

"It's a big step," Laura said, and Clint nodded in agreement. "You're welcome to stay here for as long as you want."

Clint nodded once again. "You are, and the kids will be more than happy if you did."

Wanda smiled sheepishly before eating the last of her breakfast. "Thank you, I mean that. I couldn't ask you guys to do that for me, but if it's not an inconvenience, I'll take the offer."

"It's not an inconvenience whatsoever," Laura said as she turned off the water.

"Thank you," the Witch said before finishing her tea.

Another two hours passed before Natasha woke up from her deep slumber. Her chest was filled with unexplainable anxiety she hadn't felt in a long time. She bit her lip as she got up out of bed and made her way downstairs. She heated her breakfast and coffee before she started looking around. The house was silent. She walked outside with the mug of black liquid in her hands. She smiled to herself when she saw Laura and Wanda in the garden, and Clint was off in his work shed. She went back inside and sat at the table while she ate breakfast.
