LEGERDEMAIN ACADEMY 

PROLOGUE

All about my life I've lived came crashing down on me like a very well fabricated lie that made me make decisions I never knew I was capable of.

Wala na akong pakialam. Hindi na ako sigurado. It was almost as if I was in a trance the whole time, not really having any idea about the consequences of what I was gonna do. What's clear was that the moment I stood in front of the academy gates, my life would definitely change forever.

All the secrets. All the answers. They were all inside that gate.

So I did what was supposed to be done before; I stepped inside, not knowing what I would find out, what I should expect. Basta ang mahalaga, makasama ko ulit si Fiya.

Because what was the point of having everything without the person you cherished the most?

What was the point of living a life you weren't even sure about what was true anymore?

Maybe, this is where I really should be. After all, there was this one saying true to the world I supposedly belonged to.

"You didn't choose the academy. The academy chose you."
