"Do you have any regrets? You know... from your past decisions. Since it's all over now..."

Tamad akong nag-angat ng tingin sa lalaking nakasandal sa pintuan ng home office ko. He's wearing this smug look on his face and on his back is another man with the same build, only with more angelic face. Mapang-asar pa nitong niyakap ang mga braso sa bewang ng lalaki sa harap niya na para bang nang-aasar at nang-iinggit.

"Wala ba talaga kayong ibang magawa kung 'di ang guluhin ako?" I rolled my eyes on them bago ko binalik ang atensyon ko sa binabasa kong cases.

I felt them move and enter my office. Komportable nilang inokupa ang upuan sa harap ng lamesa ko at sinimulang guluhin ang iilang papeles ko sa lamesa. Vincent attempted to snatch the papers I'm reading but I was fast to avoid him. Hinampas ko ang kamay niya at sinamaan siya ng tingin.

"Stop it, you two. Why are you even here?"

"To visit my husband's ex-wife, of course!" Mapang-asar na ngumisi si Easton. "Be grateful. We went straight here from our honeymoon just to bless you with our after-sex glow!"

Napangiwi ako. Vincent laughed at my reaction. Tuluyan na akong nawala sa concentration kaya naman itinabi ko na lang ang case na binabasa ko at humalukipkip sa harap nila.

"What a joke. Nasa harapan ko ang dati kong asawa at ang bago niyang asawa." Sarcastic pero pabiro kong sambit. "Should I prepare for a divorce paper for you two?"

"Stingy." Easton laughed. "We just got married last month, Natalie. But I'll let you know if I change my mind–"

"Hon, shut up." Tinakpan ni Vincent ang bibig ng asawa na tumatawa lang sa kanya.

Napangiti tuloy ako. Look at this two... they've come a long way. The seven years of battle was worth it. Saksi ako sa laban na ipinanalo nila sa kabila ng lahat ng taong humahadlang sa kanila.

They won. The love they have with each other, won.

"We're here to thank you, actually." I snap back on my thoughts when Easton spoke. "For everything."

"I told you, it's okay. It was to pay you both back for helping me all these years."

"We helped you without expecting anything, Natalie. Besides, it's you who sacrificed the most here."

"Who's counting? Not me, Easton."

"Still..."

Tumayo ako at sinenyasan silang sumunod. Imposibleng may magawa pa akong trabaho ngayon kaya mabuti pa at lumipat nalang kami bago pa magkalkal ang dalawang 'to sa bawat sulok ng opisina ko. I went straight to the garden to accommodate my visitors properly. Nakasunod lang sila sa akin hanggang sa makarating kami sa hardin.

"Delia, pakihainan kami ng miryenda sa garden." Utos ko sa kasambahay kong Pilipina.

"Sige po, Madam."

It didn't take us long to settle down on the center of the flower garden here beside my house. This part of my house is what I consider a haven. Kitang kita ang overview ng Switzerland dito lalo't mataas na lupa ang kinatatayuan ng bahay ko. It's like a picturesque. It has this calming effect on me whenever I see it.

"Where's Neo?"

"Sleeping." Maikli kong tugon sa tanong ni Vincent.

He smirked. Patay malisya akong sumimsim ng kape. I ignore their watching eyes just to avoid confrontation. I'm sure marami silang gustong itanong at sabihin sa akin, lalo na at kalahati ng honeymoon nila ay sa Pilipinas ginanap.

"Guess what? Your father's company is on the verge of bankruptcy, Natalie. Balita ko na-acquired na ng iba. Wala ka pa rin bang balak bumalik?"

Tinignan ko si Vincent. Just by locking eyes on me. He nod like he understood everything without my replies. I'm sure my eyes gave away the answer.
