Blair gasps as his hands traveled upwards to her breasts, gently squeezing them. "Hey, what are you doing?" She asks as his arms wrapped around her waist. "I love you so much Blair." He whispers into her ear. Blair felt herself freeze at those two words. She hadn't been loved in forever, and everything seemed to be happening too quickly. "Hey, hey, it's okay. You don't have to say it back." Meliodas whispers, turning her around so her head was buried into his chest. "I'm sorry." She whispered, holding onto him. "Shh, it's okay." He muttered. Blair whimpered as he gently patted her hair. Blair buried her face into his neck, something she often did. He smelled good, and it calmed her down.

"Blair, you wanna go back?" He asks the sleeping girl. Blairs head shot up, and she looked at him. "Did I fall asleep?" She asks, stepping back a little. "Yeah, you were pretty tired so I let you sleep for a while." Meliodas says. "Ok yeah, let's go back." She said, turning around. They both walked side by side out of the cave, an awkward tension filling the air around them. They changed back into their clothes and walked back to the tavern. Blair sat down next to Hawk and leaned her head against his back. "What did you do Meliodas?" She heard Hawk ask Meliodas as she started to drift off. "I told her that I loved her" was the last thing that Blair heard before she fell asleep.

Meliodas observed the sleeping girl from behind the bar. He was still trying to figure out why she was afraid to say 'I love you' back. Of course he wasn't going to push her to say it, but he was still curious. He never did find out where she went 3000 years ago. He was forbidden from finding her. They told Meliodas and Elizabeth that if they were to ever seek her out, she would be killed immediately. Meliodas takes a sip of some ale and tosses the cup into the sink. That was his second cup that evening. He carefully walked over to her and lifted her up into his arms. He carried her upstairs and gently placed her down on their shared bed. He gently tucked her in so she would be comfortable.

He sat by her, not holding her like he usually does. He places his hand onto her back and starts rubbing soothing circles. He needed to calm himself down so he could rest with her. He quietly gets underneath the blankets and wraps his arms around her waist so he is holding her close, then he closes his eyes.

It was dark when Blair opened her eyes. She felt a weight wrapped around her waist and a warm breath behind her. She sat up and stretched, her eyes squinting slightly. "Hey." She heard a deep voice. She turned and looked at Meliodas, and her heart wrenched as she remembered what had occurred earlier. "I-" "shh, it's okay." He said, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I'm sorry Meliodas, I don't know why I can't say it back." She said, tearing up. "I know baby, I know." He said, rubbing her back softly. Blair felt so guilty as they sat in silence. She had said I love you before with Elizabeth and the others, so why couldn't she say it right now. She thought it was because she had been alone for so long, but now she was starting to think it was something else.

By the time she realized it, a whole ten minutes had passed of them sitting in silence. "Do you wanna go back to sleep?" Meliodas asks, pulling away from the hug. "I'm kinda thirsty." Blair said, watching as Meliodas gets out of the bed. "I'll get you some water," he said, grabbing a candle and leaving the room. Blair let out a sigh (you know one of those deep chest ones that feel so good 😩) and stared at the wall in front of her. It was only until now that Blair had realized how much she missed her other soulmates. She had been strong before, but the pain had started to finally get to her. "Hey, you wanna talk." Meliodas says, sitting next to her and handing her a cup of water.

Blair takes a small sip before looking up at him with teary eyes. "I just, I miss them so much." That was the last line, and then she broke out into tears. Meliodas quickly grabbed the cup from out of her hand and placed it on the nightstand next to him, and embraced her in a warm hug. "Shh, I know baby." He said, "we will find them I promise." He muttered, pressing small butterfly kisses on her ears. Her sobs had become muffled when she buried her head into his neck and cried. "Let it all out babygirl, I'm here." He whispered, rubbing her back. After a couple of minutes she had finally started to calm down. Meliodas helped her lie down and held her so her face was buried in his chest, and they both fell asleep.

(this scene is a little spicy so be prepared or skip it 😳)

Two weeks had passed since the incident, and it was the last day before they set off on their journey to find the rest of the Sins. Blair and Meliodas had made things good between them, but it still bothered Blair everytime she thought about it, even though Meliodas had told her a bunch of times that it didn't matter. Blair sighed as she rolled over in their shared bed only a sheet covered her bare body. Blair and Meliodas had taken their relationship a bit farther last night, not sex though. She had never felt so good in her life, it was a new feeling, a feeling she liked. She blushed as she remembered the details of what had happened, and buried her head into her pillow.

Sluggishly she dragged herself out of bed and put on Meliodas's shirt. She walked over to the window and pulled the curtain to the side and looked out. It was still dark outside. Blair was always an early riser, it was just something she was used to. As quietly as she could, she walked out of their room and downstairs to the kitchen where she grabbed an apple and ate it. She gently placed her hand down onto her thigh, gently trailing it up to the bruises Meliodas had left before. She gasped at the slight pain, but quickly that pain turned into pleasure as her hand went higher. She had to use her other hand to cover her mouth, scared of waking Hawk up. Her hands attempted to copy what Meliodas did last night, rubbing gently over her clit.

But it wasn't as good as his fingers. She whimpered as she slowly pushed a finger in. It was slightly painful, but it only lasted for a second. The room only seemed to get hotter as she alternated between rubbing her clit and fingering herself. She couldn't stop her cry as the knot in her stomach burst. She panted as she regained her composure, and quickly went to wash her hands. She looked back outside again and watched the sunrise a bit before heading upstairs to get changed. During those two weeks they had gone shopping in a nearby village, Meliodas saying something about how he wanted to get more lingerie for her, which Hawk quickly shut down. Blair didn't pay any attention to it though.

She slipped on a pair of fresh panties and the new bra Meliodas had got her without Hawk knowing. It was very beautiful. It was a white lace with tiny green flower embroideries here and there. She put on a plaid mini skirt and white turtle neck with a black sweater over it. She walked back downstairs and grabbed another apple before heading out to collect some flowers for the food.

~~~~~~~~
Meliodas woke up alone, which wasn't something very unusual for him. He grinned as he remembered last night. He wanted to go farther, but he would never do something without her consent. He slipped on an outfit real quick and walked down the stairs. Hawk was also down there, mumbling about how he didn't get any sleep last night. Meliodas smirked and grabbed the last apple from the bowl, making note that if he wanted to keep Blair happy he would need to get more apples, quickly. He grabbed a small satch that was very heavy, and took the note off of it. "We need apples, eggs, and meat. I'm going to collect flowers for lunch today, I will see you whenever I get back. Love, Blair."
He groaned lightly, he loved going to the store with her but it was rare since she always seemed to be out in the forest. She was always drawn there, even before she was sent away 3000 years ago. He said goodbye to Hawk and made his way to the small market in the village. It was a family owned business, and Blair had quickly made friends of the owner, Cynthia. Cynthia was a nice woman. She was married and just recently had twins with her husband Brian. She had long brown hair that was always tied up in a ponytail. She was a hardworking woman, which is why Blair and Meliodas respect her. She's also very good at sewing, which makes life a lot easier for Blair and Meliodas.
"Good Morning Meliodas, is Blair in the forest again?" Cynthia asks as Meliodas gathers the money he owes her. "Sadly, yes. I was hoping I would be able to come with her today, but she always seems to wake up way before me." He said, frowning. "Well maybe you should start waking up earlier too, you know, surprise her with breakfast in bed. She deserves it." Cynthia smiled, helping him bag the large amount of supplies. Meliodas had decided to get more than usual, so he could try and impress Blair. "We all know how that is going to end." Meliodas frowns. Cynthia chuckles, patting him on the head. "It doesn't have to be breakfast in bed, just do something nice for her." Meliodas thanks her and walks away, an idea forming in his head.
